  1. You're right being 13 hours in he future, I just woke up. AZ showed a great article, everyone needs to look at.
  2. If we got 9, 39, 61, and 24, 25 number 1 picks for #1, would you do it?
  3. Tells me they are overpaying for Jones. Probably don't have a choice. Daboll can help.
  4. Tells me they are overpaying for Jones. Probably don't have a choice. Daboll can help.
  5. Great article. That tells me we are throwing money at J. James. Jacksonville only has 7 mil in cap space, which would make it hard to match a high offer. They are already paying Cam Robinson 22+ mil. Doubt They pay James the 13-14 mil he will command. Having a cheap LT puts us in play. Would love to see the IOL ratings, may have to trail website.
  6. The Bears are bringing back Josh Blackwell and Andrew Brown ( DT). Don't know much about Brown but its no money to be concerned about. They can dumb him anytime.
  7. Have to see what they do in free agency. If they pick up a RT and OC, that changes the front of the draft.
  8. I don't think this year was a regression, I think he has good coaches now. The nice thing is , the regime supports him , so you be able to see the growth in real time. Daboll is great with QBs, I agree with that and not much around him. Poles is going to fix the Oline this off-season and add one more weapon. That will be enough for Fields to take a giant step forward. Its OK to disagree, that's what makes discussions fun. We can bring this up again once Poles adds blue chip players.
  9. 209 pressures in 3 years, that is insane. Hutchinson had a 128 in comparison and he played well this yr as a rookie. In comparison Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts didn't have their act together until their 3 rd year. Plus Fields first was totally wasted. I tink Young is successful but his size will catch up to him as far as health. Only a few short QBs had long careers at a high level. This is the year Justin takes off, if it fails, we will have draft capital to get a QB in the 2024 draft.
  10. We led the league in rushing last year with Monty. As we transition to more of a passing team, he becomes more valuable as pass blocker and pass catcher. We will be still top 5 but will be more balanced next year.
  11. Anderson is my favorite choice but with trade back scenarios, don't see us getting him. More of a comparison to Parsons but if physically identical to Mack, he will be a stud.
  12. I do think Young will be a good QB, but if Justin was in this draft, he would be the first QB taken.
  13. He's not going to Houston, A Jets type scenario happens. . Jackson is the real deal but Poles Is going with upside over 50 mil a year contract. If we were closer to competing, maybe but realistically 2 yrs away.
  14. I agree with your opinion, but I think Poles loves Montys intangibles and drafts a potential replacement. ( Chase Brown). Let's it play out.
  15. For better or for worst, this is what I think Poles is doing. Resigns Monty for 3 yr 19.5 mil If Dremont Jones is to expensive, he signs Kyle Allen. Signs McGary, he played under the OL coach. Signs Ethan Pocic, doesn't wait for the growth of a rookie Mooney and Claypool plays on the outside, signs Olamide Zaccheaus to compete with V Jones in the slot. Signs Bobby Okereke. Keeps Whitehair for one more year.
  16. He is supposed to be a great first step guy. Everyone is comparing him to Mack, more a power guy.
  17. ZBS? I just woke up, brain ain't working right yet. You mean, Schmitz?
  18. Well you're going to have a problem with Poles, he's resigning Monty at 6-7 mil and not bringing in Brown. Just my guess what Poles, not what I want.
  19. Its not that Mauch is better at this stage but gives you a high level prospect hat you could plug in anywhere in the line if someone fails. Brown is going to be paid elite LT money. No way Poles is paying that and moving him to RT. Truthfully he's not paying that and leave him at LT.
  20. If we end up with Van Ness, Cody Mauch, and AA, I'm A happy camper.
  21. The reason Brown got traded is he refused to go back to RT. Jones has grown enough in his first year to merit letting that experiment play out. I think they draft a OT that could slide to LT if Jones fades. Mauch comes to mind. Basically can play any spot on the OL. Of course Brown is better, but if you upgrade the rest of the line, it would still have positive results. Brown may end up being the highest paid LT in the league , with that money, Poles can add two starters on the OL.
  22. I think they add one speed rusher and one power type end. Will McDonald and Tyree Wilson. I'm good with
  23. I telling you what I think Poles does, not what I think may be the best move. For what he pays Brown, he could sign Evan Pocic and Kaleb McGary. If he wants to move on from Whitehair, post June cut can bag 9.9 mil. That easily gets you Ben Powers or Dalton Risner.
  24. If any team wants a sit at a QB, I don't see them throwing in WR in the deal. It would stunt the QB growth. Giving a D player makes more sense.
