  1. When a player plays well, we all jump on the bandwagon and say Pay him. This is an example why that is not always a good idea.

With Gipson being hurt, Bush on IR, then who? If all healthy move Gipson to FS and Bush in SS , BUT not happening.

We took a chance with Nagy as you do with any OC or DC. It aint working out. Just find someone that can adjust to the roster and go with a plan. BUT Pace should be gone to, so we need to find a new GM first.
  4. The problem with the Bears is they have to be error free to beat teams. To many mistakes during drives. We only had 2 successful drives. Other drives stalled because of penalties, dropped balls, Fields holding the ball to long, missed blocks. I think a problem is Field's is in the pocket to much. He's fearless as takes to much time doing his reads. As soon as he is pressured he needs to move out of the pocket. We need more rollouts, RPOs, and designed QB runs. We need to be Ravens offense for now.
  5. He's my favourite ex bear since Doug Buffone died.
  6. Grudens comments was taken care of with Karma, he will never work again in the NFL but like AZ, how was he the only one targeted when they viewed the emails of many management comments. I think they picked out Gruden for the sacrificial lamb, but odd, no other person was announced. Everyone has said something over their life that would offend someone. Once does not make a fair complaint but obviously Gruden overdid it and deserving so no longer works but he cant be the only one that said something offensive.
  7. Most your points are valid but not to the tune of 30-14. I see more of a 24-20 game. Close but coming up short. What will make a big difference is if we can get a couple of TOs that would keep it close. My optimistic me says we can win as I bet on the game. My realistic me thinks Jason is probably right.
  8. When they come back, they will not start but be available for backup duty. Probably only play if an injury pops up. Our Oline seems suited for running the ball and be physical. They can manipulate play callings to minimize shady pass protections. Its not a good situation but seems stable the last two games.
  9. I think we need to praise Pace when the good things he did shine. first Herbert and Williams- way better than normal backups. Bringing in Grant. Quinn is a stud , playing like what we thought should last year. Pace's imprint is all over the roster. Keeping Horsted around- he needs more playing time. I think Desai is growing and getting better. The CBs dont look as weak as we originally thought. Quinn and Mack are flying. Smith is a all pro stud. Far from perfect but definitely becoming a top 10 defense in the league. The OL is looking better with finding a running attack that promotes physicality. James Daniel and Jason Petters were serving pancakes yesterday. As they open the offense up more, we will see more chunk plays downfield. Its getting better as we wait for Fields to come into his own.
  10. When Nagy came on the scene in 2018, coach of the yr, we won games. Then his system and stubbornness got in the way. The reason he was successful that yr is he adapted to the talent and made it work. Then his ego took over. At some point he has to realize to just make it the best team it can be and not trying to force feed schemes. A KC offence here will never happen, just use Monty, AROB, Kmet and put them in the position to be successful. Maybe he is realizing that now, or someone told him to . Monty is gone for awhile but Williams and Hubert is ample talent to make things work. This week will define the rest of the season. I hope he's up for it.
  11. With DM hurt, watch Nagy throw the ball 40 times a game, just saying.

Nagy is liked by his players, a good thing, but stuck on a scheme when it is not productive is lame. Good coaches adapt to their personal. He finds that hard to do. I always want everyone to be successful as a Bear, but as some point, it is hard to trek through the fog.

    Jakeem Grant

Its throwing darts at the board and hope you score. We will see, If Williams doesnt go, Hebert will shine.
  14. Gibson hasnt been playing and when we get him back, hopefully the S position improves. Bush made several coverage mistakes. With Hicks going out and Goldman a non issue, I think this can improve as backups play more. In todays NFL, rolling out low scoring games are going to be tough. The key is we have to keep getting TOs and we can keep it close. The pass rush is balling and that is huge.
  15. As Fields becomes successful with routes to Mooney and AROB, the middle of the field will open up for the TEs. As the offense grows with a new QB, so does the play calling.

For the future of the team, why start Dalton for most of the year? Running the ball and having 12 and 13 sets helped quite a bit. They need to role him out, move the pocket, many sets that could help him stay healthy. Does Fields have a lot to learn, of course, does he give us the best chance to win, yes.(only if Nagy is not calling the plays). I was in Nagy's corner to give him a chance this year to show us what he has got after the disasters he has had play calling. Yesterday, (Dalton is still our starter). Im all done with him. Nagy is a system guy, it doesnt matter the personal because his system works. HIs system works in KC because of Mahomes, Hill and Kelce. HIs stubbornness is going to get him gone.
  17. Glad the voice of reason is back other than the (support Pace narrative). Every GM makes mistakes along the way, and Pace seems to repeat them. I also liked his aggressiveness but transactions like jumping the gun to sign Foles when he should have let the market play out. Did that with Glennon on a big contract, and again with Dalton. He gets nervous that he will be left out and wastes money. I would rather be more conservative and grab what's available at a better deal. We praise him for not being cheap (Jackson) and end up with a player relaxing because he got paid. Not letting Graham leave and save either Leno or Fuller. Just bad decisions. He finally addresses OL and the supposed starting OTs are on IR. Didnt leave an option for the spots if the rookies didnt work out in the first year.
  18. Nagy is an idiot. Why is all he does is take a 7 step drop? One time he released him outside and had a positive play.
  19. Well my CoolAid drinking brain bet on Fields to score a td and the Bears to cover 7 + 1/2 points.A parlay that pays +780. Dumb bet
  20. I think we can keep their running game in check. We will win it we win the turnover battle. It seems we're on a roller coaster , look good one week look bad the nex. I hope Fields can change that.
