As far as scheduling, I have one live draft usually the Tuesday of the start of the season. Which would be on the 7th. The others are online so I can manage any of them. So I am flexible but that Tues.

I think this indicates he wont be ready for the opener. I'll take a 39 year old Peters over Leno everyday. Since that is what he will be compared to when he plays.

With a shaky oline, Fields needs to be behind center to help the offense. -

Its the first preseason game but one thing is for sure, Foles did not earn himself a trade. -
It's not a problem yet but has bad optics. A few weeks will define everything. Jenkins never missed any time in college, so probably just being cautious.

I don't think any of the covid stuff is long term. They either tested positive or was around someone that did. In 2 days they retest them. The rapid test isn't very reliable and they get a lot of false positives.

Marquin Chirstian has been running with the #1s at the nickel spot. They are trying out everyone, so I am sure someone will step up and get the job done.

Little tweaks dont bother me, always happens, its the major injuries that has a negative effect. Example Cohen last year. Jenkins having back tightness and not practicing, is just the Bears being overly cautious because of their lack of depth on the LT spot. I still believe If not Wilkerson , Bars still could play decent LT if needed.
-
He is very physical and athletic. I remember Carimi as a finesse guy. Could be wrong.

They took risk at LT with getting rid of Leno, they needed the cap space. They list Wilkinson as the backup. but I have read that Barr with get reps there. He has the body to play the LT spot. I think they will use Barr as a multi position backup. They have 3 that can play LT if Jenkins gets injuries but clearly he is given the spot. Leno was there for a long time but has been mediocre. The risk of a high end draftee will make some mistakes but how far away would that be from what we would have gotten from Leno? We simply dont know but I think the change will show results going forward. We needed improvement, if you always stay the norm, you will always get the same results. We are taking risk because of the upside.

He's back but they don't like each other, he's not going to sit out and packers weren't going to trade him. With bad juju in the room, I can see some bumps in the road ahead.
-
I think cut a deal, he plays this yr and moved some money to a bonus for him and won't tag him next yr and he gets his release.
-
They are upgrading from the bottom up and that is huge for the TE position. Always seems to be a lot of injuries to TEs for some reason.
-
I remember games where Robinson had to line in up in formations. He was very athletic, but didn't have his head on straight. Consistency was his problem.
-
As much as I suspect Fields will succeed his first year, there is a history of a few of the many who were drafted that succeeded quickly. I hope we have the Justin Herbert of this year. Mond will have a hard time knocking Cousins out of the top spot. Cousins stats aren't bad.

D day is coming next week. Rodgers could save face and say he never said he wasn't coming to and just show up to camp.
-
I think our defense will be top 5. Johnson, Nichols, and Smith will have pro bowl type seasons. Mack and Quinn will be what we expected last year. Hopefully Jackson upgrades his play. Hicks and Mack will hopefully plays without injuries.
-
There is always a lot of hope with newly drafted players, but Fields is different. He had production at a high level. He's very smart. He has great work eithics .He is very athletic. He plays hurt. He loves football, rallied the players last yr to force the Big 10 to play football. A leader. (The difference) he has everything to succeed in the NFL.

Late 60s with Sayers and Butkus made me a fan. 69 this year for me.

I don't think 4 yr 17.5 mil is a top 10 contract. The last 2 yrs don't have guaranteed money left. According to over the cap website. I think they probably paid for past performance but not a terrible contract.

We should have signed Robinson to a long term deal

He's a top 10 WR in the league, but because he is a possession type , he's not worth top 5 money. I would rather have him here but over the last two yrs, a large group of young good wrs coming into the league. They are thinking they can tag him twice and then not have to pay him 20 to 22 mil a yr for his last couple of yrs on a 4 yr deal. They essentially pay him 40 mil for 2 yrs and develop Mooney, a speedy wr paying a lot less money. Possession type WRs just don't get too dollar, they want to throw downfield, not 10 yard pops. -
Wait till Fields takes over, the end of the yr with flexible national games, we will unfortunately be in prime time to much.
-
I watch some film on Darnell Mooney both highlights and all the times he was opened and overthrown by the terrible two of last year. He could be a star type player with Fields. I'll try to transfer files here from Twitter.

That is in question, I think the offense produces consistently and we have an upturn in number of plays which could still give Montgomery 20 touched a game. KC have always had a good running game to go with their passing attack. I think Nagy will be able to run the offense he wants to this yr.
