I was reading some stats. We had the 11th ranked OL in the league last year . Massie was ranked 29th overall of all OTs. The last 8 weeks of the season, he was the best pass blocking RT in the league. When people mention Massie , we always say we need to upgrade the position. He has actually been playing well. I think we should resign him for 3 yrs, 20 mil with 10 mil G. So in 2 years we can cut him with no dead money. We draft his replacement or give Coward another year to develop , build up our depth. We should draft a RG-RT to take over what ever spot opens up first. I think with the maturation of Daniel's and Whitehair, the line improves.

Probably a good reason he didn't have the big impact in the playoffs.

Howard is a cheap productive player something we need right now. The best we would get would be maybe a 6 or 7. Look at recent trades RBs, not high picks. Also a strong RB class in the draft. 2 years from now just doesn't matter. Every year takes on a new life when your a successful team, always changing. Hunt has a suspension coming, 6,9, all season. Hunt will be a backup plan. They will sign or draft a RB to be in the mix. RB isn't a weakness but Nagy will want to add more weapons. I will say OL will be addressed first, RT and RG . An injured Long , Coward are risky options, so they will hit the pavement running.

I think with our lack of money , the key will be resigning our own guys. Then we will be replacing those that leave. In order of importance: Callahan Amos Massie RRH Lynch All of the RFA and ERFAs. Because of our success, everyone is going to be making more money. I will say probably only make one decent signing other than our own guys.

If Nagys play calls work, everyone thinks he's a genius. If they don't work everyone questions his sensibility. The truth is , he is going to make mistakes, but the overall decision making is pretty good and will get better the more experience he gets. The reason Cohen didn't have a lot of touches was because the Eagles gameplan was to take him out of the offense and they succeeded. To say Nagy didn't use him enough is a stupid statement.

This year they installed a new offense, so Howard didn't get a large amount of work, that does not mean he doesn't have valve on this team. At 750 thousand, dumb to get rid of him. After Nagy speaking today, I would say Hunt will be on the team next year with some kind of suspension. So he gets here in time for us to make a Super bowl run, perfect.

RB is not a need, upgrading there would be a mi or bump. If BPA turns up a Hunt or Kamaria , a no brainer but OL has questions ( although I think Coward replaces Massie) but a prospect in line to takes Longs place in case of another injury makes a lot of sense. Ss and CBs are always needed especially with a potential loss of Callahan. Lets say BPA ALIGHNS THIS WAY 3- OL 4- OL 6-SS 7CB Add RB prospects in PFAs or FAgency We sighed a OLB out of Canada and Acho will be back with a contract. As much as it sounds out of place,I still see us signing Hunt after a rehab assignment. How many of NFL players get second chances, nearly all of them. Nagy could inspire a new family setting for Hunts future.

I think he has valve on this team, no one is going to give a 3rd or 4th rounder for him. Lucky to get a fifth. We struck gold getting him in the 5th the year we drafted him, hard to find that production in the latter rounds.

We could not control Fangio leaving, Pagano probably most successful candidate out there. I think the personal controls the success of a DC. Fangio didn't have a winning record under Fox. Everything is good.
-
The oline is a definite need. Long has injury issues and Massie will get paid. I think they need to bring in a new guard but keep Long on a renegotiated contract. , resign Witzmann for another backup. Draft a RT and go with Coward as the starter. That's a big question mark but with the Mack money kicking in we have to have some cheap starters.
-
I am happy for him. What we have to realize, once you have success, these things happen all the time. That's why it's great to have Nagy in place, the offensive minds are in demand. Donatelli is buddies with Fangio so I can see Vic taking him with him. I suggest the Bears offer him the job with a big pay check as soon as possibly. It would be the best scenario to continue our success with this defense. Remember we have the personal going forward so that should attract qualified candidates.

For some reason, Nagy likes Mizzell a lot. I don't get it , if there is a prize RB at one of our draft spots , they will absolutely draft one . That does not mean Howard is gone , will take Benny Cs spot.
-
I hate to say it but he is here until they replace him. They have to find a cheap kicker. Draft pick or FA. He should be gone but may not be. Also I think they draft a RT and go with Coward. He didn't sit on the PS, he was one of the 53 all year. They had a reason they did that. Is it a risk, absolutely but have to have some cheap starters going forward.

I agree, you have to draft BPA no matter the position. I think by the 3rd round you still get a good OL prospect or a CB with a size flaw.
-
Eagles schemed to take him out of the game, they succeeded.
-
My silver lining is Nagy , I think is a BB or Tomlin in the making. He will have continued success and we got him.
-
I think we prioritize Calahan and lowball Amos. I think Bush can replace Amos as a starter. Forget Kush and bring back Witzmann, the guy that beat him out. Offer Massie a one year deal to allow Coward one more year to develop. Offer lynch a 3 year 15 million deal with only 7 million guaranteed so we can dump him next year if he goes back to being injured frequently. I think they bring Parkey back( not FA), along with competition and hopefully try to replace him. Renegotiate with Long , look for a FA replacement with the money left we save if he doesn't take a pay cut. The rest doesn't matter. I think RRH is a restricted FA, we have to get him back.

With Mack money starting you have to be cap conscious. Howard will make 750 this year. Find me a player making that much money that will be as productive as he was and I will go all in. They got him more involved in the offense as the season progressed. I think installing the new scheme left his production lack as Grzzy stated. I think we keep him and add to the mix, not subtract because he didn't do as well as the previous 2 seasons that wasn't all on his plate. The oline, new scheme .ABSOLUTELY KEEP HIM

I dont think they get rid of Howard, he'll be making 750,000 next year. He found a role in our offense. What we need to do is add another body , replace Cunningham and Mizzell. I think Hunt may be available after a rehab stink and then promote Nall. I think the draft finds us some new players even with missing the first few rounds, I think Paces best trait is finding later round picks. Nichols, Cohen, Howard, Jackson just to name a few. A few cheap FAs and in house development and we are a stronger team next year.

Now its time to look forward, the ending seems much worse than when you lose 11 games but the truth is, we won 12 games , made the playoffs and have one of the better coaches in the league. Also a defense with no starters over 30. A developing QB, a offense that can play much better next year. 4 Pro bowl starters. Mack and Smith at full speed out of the gate. We have a bright side here. So I'm ready to move forward.
