Our oline is ranked top 15, I think 11th last time I checked. Next year we have 5 OL signed to contracts. Long, Leno, Whitehair, Daniels and Sowell On the roster this year are: those 5 plus Kush Coward Massie Witzmann PS: Dejon Allen and Willie Beavers I think Long will be back but the multi injuries with cause concern for his future. I think we resign Witzmann and Coward and Coward becomes our RT going forward.( they have kept him on the roster all year even though he has not played) I think W. Beavers gets promoted to the roster and is looked as a swing tackle going forward.( he was ranked as a 4th round pick in his draft) Witzmann stays as a reserve and they let Kush go. I think in the 3rd or 4th round we draft a OL to bring in to support our Oline going forward. Next year: Leno, Daniels,Whitehair, Long, Coward----reserves Sowell, Witzmann, Beavers, rookie. Longs health is the big question mark here. Macks money kicks in so they have to have some cheap starters so it opens the door for Coward. Also Dejon Allen is keep around and could possible make the roster going forward.

Nagy was in the house last year so he knows the kid. I doubt this public perception goes away soon. The problem here is him lying about it and led to being cut. If you watch the video, he kicked at her and did not have a heavy blow with his kick so their is grey area here for someone to justify to go after him. No way the Bears touch him but someone will. It is coming down to 0 tolerance for this kind of stuff , many other players were more brutal with their violence to a woman. You simply can not do it in any form.

He will be moving up on that list as he goes forward . He is not fully up to speed yet.

I just read somewhere on twitter that Smith is now #2 on voting at ILB , I will have to check out if that is true, but that would make 6 if Hicks gets to go in.

I can see NO losing one of the Car games to finish 13-3. We would be the only potential lose for LA. For us to have any chance at byes we need to win out, not likely.

Pace missed on his first two #1 picks but he has excelled on mid round picks. I think you have to look at his draft classes as a whole and not worry about his rounds. When you look back after Jackson will be having a pro bowl year, you could very well day he would be redrafted as a #1. So my point is, I do not care where the players come from but Pace is finding prime time players in his drafts. Also I think he was influenced by Fox in his first few drafts.Now he is running on his own.

Lets say we finish 2-3, unlikely but possible. we finish 10-6 Minnesota has to play 3 road games against SEA, NE, and DET plus us and Miami at home. So lets say they lose to SEA and NE but win the rest also beating us. We finish 1/2 ahead of Minny. WIN DIVISION. Personally I think we go 4-1 and lose on the road to Minny. Finnish 11-5, UMMM I will take that , I did predict 10-6 but they are but than I imagined. I think we beat LA for two reasons, weather will affect play and they easily win there division and will be hard to get up for every game going forward, in others words they relax to much.

The Packers have been put to bed, if we win this game, the Viking have to play NE and Sea which is likely at least one loss, then the last game of the season will not matter. The key game will be the Packer game, if we go 3-2 going forward, and Minny losts one more game we will win by the 1/2 game tie that the Vikings have.

The weak spot for the Bears is the underneath quick pass, if we keep taking the ball away this will change.

They have to many weapons to take lightly, we need to blitz a lot in this game, and get turnovers then we can coast

Their are many aspects that are affecting Howards running. First of all, Nagy is scheming people in spots to succeed and leans less on the running game. We are playing without a FB that gave Howard in the past better running lanes. Sims is hurt and Shaheen is not up to speed yet in the system. Anyone remember the name of Kyle Long? He was our best run blocker. His injury causes us to start Daniels before they actually wanted to . Also a unwanted FA is playing RG to show you how good Kush actually was. It is the combination of several reasons we are not running the ball well. Once Daniels is fully integrated and hopefully Long coming back for playoffs, then you will see Howard look better. Hard to be a good RB when you keep getting hit before you reach the line of scrimmage . The last two years Howard looked good because of a FB, blocking TE, he was more a part of the game plan that got him yardage late in games.

I think we have the luxury of a couple of weak opponents in the next few games, plus the mini bi- week to have him heal. Obviously it would have better for him to play to grow more, but I think it will all turn out okay. I think playing Daniel is a lift so we do not have a typical letdown after a big game last week. They all rally behind Chase and not relax.

Actually you need to pat yourself on the back every time you get the chance. We will go need and BPA at the time. I see no way they see that as a priority in the 3rd round, but can see one getting drafted. Cohen was drafted in the 4th round. Howard was a 5th round pick that the Bears got good value at. Nall was a PFA. Will not be our 3rd round pick.

I totally agree with Hub, now Nagy is pushing to our backs are against the wall narrative and the team rallies behind Chase. I think the offense expands not retracts. Detroit is preparing for MT and this gets thrown in their face, I think it makes a lot of sense to think it prevents a letdown.

I think normally there might have been a let down after a big win against Minny but now that MT is down, I think the team rallies around Chase and kick some ass.

Actually I think this ends up being a blowout for us, Chase knows the system better and Nagy opens it up and goes nuts on Lions.

If he is electric, I doubt he lasts until the end of the 3rd round. I also think RB is not listed that high on our priority list.

K. Johnson and Marvin Jones will both not play Thursday. Our karma just keeps getting better as we move forward.

We have to keep reminding ourselves that MT is a QB that we are developing and will not be a year before we see limited mistakes from him. Watson was 16/24 208 1td and 2 ints. Watson has settled down to a regular QB since his last year success. Pat Maholmes is having a very successful year but I think next year is the time we can honestly compare MT to these two. The arrow is pointing up with MT, shows wow plays once in a while and shows whoa plays sometimes. All of these works because we have the best defense in the league. If the season stopped now , how many pro bowl players do we have? Mack--no brainier Hicks-- I think he makes it easily Callahan-- if he stays healthy I think he makes it. Held Theilien to one catch in the first half. Then Minny moved him around out of the slot. Jackson-- he keeps having pick 6s this turns into a no brainier. Fuller--he leads the league in PDs and is second with 4 int., all stats that suggest he goes. With us spreading the ball all around I do not see anyone with strong enough stats to make it. Maybe Whitehair? time will tell

I had 24-20 so it was close, but none of all of this matters, we won, I dont care if its pretty, lucky, or a bad win, a win is a win, we did enough to be in first place. This was a very good team, taking away Cook was huge , it made Cousins be relied on to much and forced him into mistakes. The first half, diggs and Thielien had 2 receptions. We can beat anyone with this defense. I think the Detroit game could be a trap game, hopefully it turns out well. If we beat D and NY then its prime time with Rams with a 9-3 record, I think the Rams lose to KC, so one game apart and we get to play them at home, all looking like good timing.

I can not remember was their anybody on here that complained that the 2 first round picks we gave for Mack was to much? Just asking for a friend.
