  1. Minny and NE has also taken visits, so probably going to have to pay more than expected.
  2. If you look at all the FAs we got last year, not a lot of producers in that group. I think much better so far.
  3. I'm not sure its to play LT or RG but we have a meeting with Ryan Bates, A RFA out of Buffalo. He was a backup that stepped in the lineup last year and had 400 snaps, no sacks and one penalty. The Bills can match the offer , he is slated to get 2.4 mil. but can get other offers. This is the type of player Poles looks for, hopefully we make the best offer and can get him. He is 25.

The draft we have needs to have trade backs to get 2 extra picks, 2 WRs, 2 OL, CB, SS, LB, Edge rusher.
  5. I think we have on offer for a LT, it may not be Armstead, we offered more money to Brian Allen than the Rams did. I think it may be Eric Fisher.
  6. Rams had some cap money problems, they needed to clear the 10 mil when they signed AROB.
  7. Now I don't trust Twitter. Just seen where Robert Woods Is going to the Titans for a 6th round pick.
  8. I just seen it reported, that info comes from a fake account of Rapport.
  9. According to Ian Rapport reports. If true eladed and skeptical at the same time. Paying big money for a player that doesn't stay on the field enough.
  10. According to Ian Rapport reports. If true eladed and skeptical at the same time. Paying big money for a player that doesn't stay on the field enough.
  11. He played well last yr. Actually I thought he may be able to compete for the SS job. I think Bush should be brought back as a backup.
  12. I dont think we're playoff contenders but he's remaking the roster to his liking. He is rebuilding it but , I don't think its a 3 or 4 yr redo. I think he thinks he can put together a roster around Fields that we can win right away. Be contenders in year 2. Bengals went from 4 wins to making it to the SB. Of course, Fields is not Burrow, but I think we could content quickly. If some of his new acquisitions can add to our core players, we might be good. I know I'm an optimist, but if not now but when?
  13. There is only limited information you can get on his surgery, most comes from the agent. I don't fault him one bit. Until you get a physical by your doctors, you kinda stuck trusting what the agent tells you. Not a good look but it comes with the job. He did the right thing instead of letting his ego get in the way, and canceled the deal.
  14. Anyone heard of Ryan Bates? We took a visit from him. He started at LG for the Bills the last 5 games of the season. He played all positions for Buffalo as a backup. He can play both OG positions and RT. He shows up on the Bills website depth chart as the starter at LG. I also think Poles may be interested in Eric Fisher. He hasn't signed with anyone yet and although he didn't have a good year last year, he was a premium starter acres yrs ago. Anyone interested in Nate Solder?
  15. A lot of people are pushing for Armsted but the problem with him is , he averaged 10 games played in the last 3 seasons. We have to stay away from pre injured players.
  16. To be honest, we need to bring in two WR on the chance we get a #1 for sure. Roll the dice on two. I would love a stud SS but lots of Ss in free agency. Also CBs.
  17. A good runner and pass catcher. Not much for YAK but you don't need that since you're there to block.
  18. They only have 6 picks and the first 3 need to be Tyler Smith, Christian Watson and Alex Pierce. Then they need a MLB, SS, CB, if not two. A developmental OT, a TE, developmental QB, and a punter. The point is they don't have enough picks for everything. I guess after 39-48-71, you take BPA and fill what needs you can.
  19. I think you have to have 3 pass rushers, this rounds it out. You couldn't go into he season with Al-Q and Gibson. Everyone says they are completely rebuilding but I disagree . I think he's just remaking the roster the way he wants it. Lots of turnover.
  20. Lots of LTs still out there. It would be nice to know to who he made offers to.
  21. This is another potential core player signing. Young and ascending. Has upside, not your30 yr old , INE and done signing.
  22. Just read a note from Briggs that we offered Brian Allen 2 mil more per year. than he signed with the Rams for. Patrick was the backup plan, it works for me . Not a star but an upgrade.
  23. St Brown is a (meh) but Pringle is a good WR. He will definitely be noticed.
  24. They already signed another guy, Justin Jones, played for the Chargers. Production wasn't special but young, 25. Still need another guy. Matt Loaninis. Is available, good production., played with Washington. Also Jarran Reed, Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, was the third pick in the draft Trubisky was un.
  25. Adams had 169 targets last year, and St Brown was his backup. I don't know if he's any good or not but at he will have an opportunity to do better. If he makes the team, maybe Fields makes him a better player.
