A lotta talk about trading Monty and Quinn on Twitter. My take is they are remaking the roster but calling it a rebuild means they don't think they can win. I think they don't view it that way. Mack has not been Mack for the last few years, so losing him is not as big a deal as it sounds. For not signing ARob, Pringle had more production than ARob did last year. If you want the existing players to buy into what their selling, you can't get rid of good players. Monty is a team leader and hard worker. People think a 3rd pick is more valuable than David playing this year. Offer him a team friendly contract after this year, you don't have to pay him big money. Quinn allows them to have Gipson and QMo to ascend without destroying the team. The Def is not going to be top 5 but I don't see them lower than top 15. The Flus concept is 7 to the ball and push TOs. That will bare better results than last year. The key to the season is getting the offense up to top 20 that will make us around a 500 team. If Fields takes a jump, a winning record. Quote Edit

I think the first 3 picks will be a starting OG, a X WR, and a contributing defensive player, DT or CB. The 5th and 6th round picks will be another WR and a developmental OT. If they get extra picks, they will address CB, SS, LB and pass rusher.

    Moved to Quinn trade.

I have heard several so called experts have mentioned the top 5 are the only ones capable of day one starting (OT). Of course every year someone surprises them.

I would love that to happen. Green and Strange are both OGs. Strange can play OC but the more talent the better. A replacement for Whitehair next year and get rid of 14 mil cap hit. Someone I have heard a lot of positive stuff has been for Zack Tom. He has moved up the board to a 3rd or 4 th round. Another one to watch is Max Mitchell, Tom Thayer have mentioned him several times on All Access. They have several options in the third round .

Draft in a couple of days so who do we pick? I think one will be a trade back, not sure which one. So 39 Tyler Smith 48 Logan Hall 71 Alex Pierce.

Another thing to consider is drafting a OG that could end up replacing Whitehair in one year to get rid of that12.5 mil a yr contract. So I would be OK with multiple picks on the line..

If we take a OT that will need time to develop, he needs to play RG for a year while developing. I think early you take a Strange , Salyer, or Parham that couuld start right away at RG and then take a OT developmental prospect in the late rounds.
  9. I've did it in snow covered intersections and wasn't even trying.

As long as they address OL and WR early and often I'll be happy. If Ogunjobi is sitting on the fence waiting to rehab his foot with a good chance of coming here, 3T will not need to be an early pick. I think Poles will fill in the defense with free agents if the draft doesn't give us any starters.
  11. The NFL is not the playground for choir boys. It a brutal sport that doesn't cater to scholars. As long as they dont murder or abuse anyone. Are chronic abusers of drugs and alcohol, I'm not going to judge them. If people get canceled over doing something stupid, 60% of NFL would not be playing football.
  12. Several of these types on the Internet. Nice to hear their preferences. Brandon Thorn mentioned Buford , Diesch , and Rosenthal names as sleeper types. He also gave the same 6 as day one starters.
  13. Do you fire a player for doing a donut in your car? Not the world I live in. Some people think he should be let go. That's ridiculous. You can get your license suspended for not paying parking tickets.
  14. I seen that but the fact he hasn't visited with any other team since he failed the physical is interesting.
  15. Don't know if this is real but Ogunjobi posted a picture of him working out at a Bear's facility on Instagram. If true he'll be back here. There letting him rehab until he can past a physical. Since t noticed so did everyone else, lots of Twitter talk about it. Also read where he hasn't visited any other teams since he flunked the physical. He's coming back here. I suspect they do a similar contract tied to games played or close to that. This would change our early draft strategy. Or maybe target Logan Hall that can play both DE and 3T.
  16. If he has to take cheap money definitely for a contender.
  17. After retiring does his old team have be compensated?
  18. I like he takes chances on players that may have some upside. Short and cheap contracts is where you want them risks. If he hits 50/50 or one out of three to add core players win win. He knows the draft is where you find your studs. Hopefully he's good at that. Between Pringle-St Brown- Moore if one becomes a #2 type, we win. Or all contribute! That would awesome.

I'm all in on adding 2 WRs and 2 OL in the draft. Poles will get an extra couple of picks to make that more realistic. Another day 3 WR Danny Grey seems to be a player Bears like, two meetings. Seems like a clone of Mooney but faster. It's only been in the last week but think DT could be our first pick. Many more options at OL and WR at our other picks. Didn't like that thought before, but it's growing on me. Logan Hall would be a good pick. Can play at 3T or DE and fit the Flus concept. 39 Hall. 48 Kinnard. 71 Piece Since a video in Darien Kinnard and he just mauls people and the Kruetz demeanor.
  20. None of these are slap in the face moves but could be sneaky good cheap additions. I discovered this channel on YouTube, he breaks down everything Bears and does a good job. Moore has some game to him. Kinda think he will be like the Taylor Gabriel signing. Adds to the team but not special. Davenport will never beat someone out to start but can be a serious swing tackle. He lacks consistent play.
  21. If that's his girlfriend, I would say he's thinking about after the game.
  22. Actually if you look at the drafted list Baker, Conley, Zay Jones Gonzales all made it. I would have got a B for that draft. Yet I don't have a draft show. Or producing a draft guide. Oh well, I'll take retired in Thailand.

This is just how they ranked them, not where they think they will be picked. Tyler Smith will be picked before pick 54. Watson will go before pick 47. The QBs always go higher.
  24. We signed 3 players today. Julian Davenport/OT 33 starts in Houston David Moore/WR 4.43 speed 13 TDs scored in NFL Greg Stromal JR/ CB

The article came out yesterday, probably took a week to put together. The trade was just my show of a possible trade back. The article jus shows the big board. The team picks came from GBNReport website.
