MT has had more bad plays than good, but after 3 games that we are 2-1 can everybody take a step back before we cut him from the team. Things he has to learn is trainable,by mass opinion, we have one of the better coaches to do that. He has the coaching staff to make him a good QB. With a complicated new system that Nagy said would take 2 years to learn, he is thinking to much and not reacting. As he becomes more comfortable with the system it will be more instinctive to him. Two of the 3 interceptions he has had in the last two games were off tipped passes and not just bad throws. He may not turn out to be a good QB, but this is way to early to get on the bandwagon to worst QB in the league. We have never seen a QB developed on the Bears before, lets sit back and allow that to happen.

It wasnt pretty, MT not good, Nagy bad game calling plays. BUT we won the game , a good defense will do that for you. Plus, they finally run the ball more, not pretty but we need to do that. We are winning the TOs, a very good sign.

I think AZ is not as terrible as they have looked. Bradford is bad, the OL is bad, but defensively they have Jones, Golden, Pertersen, they are capable of keeping in close, but I see no way we should lose this game. Offensive they need to use Johnson better than they have. Bears, 23- 9

This weak AZ right tackle is out for the game, that does not bold well for Bradford.

I am just not sure you can judge a db by a couple of selected plays. I think you need to look at all of them. Time will tell if he wins the battle most of the time. Two games and two plays are a small sample size for judgement at this time.

He had tight coverage but your right he didnt turn his head, so that makes him a shitty DB? If you havent paid attention everybody gets beat at certain times, there were still perfect throws. You have to look at his over all game. I doubt if he turned his head that he would have broke up those plays, they were in a perfect spot to catch.

There going to run the ball a lot and quick throws in less than 2.5, so this won't be murder unless we stop the run effectively.

If you re-watch the game you will see that Fuller had tight coverage on both of those completed passes. Truth is they were perfect throws that he couldn't do anything about. Both Prince and Fuller have played well. Fangio won't ever be a head coach, his name is mentioned on a few hires last year but no one stepped up to even interview him. I think he will be satisfied with being the defensive guru of this team when they go to a Super Bowl. Sims did not block well on several hurries that MT had, he missed blocks not getting to the area he needed to be. Lynch played well in his time on the field, glad to see we get mileage out of him.Smith and Mack still have to get in to player shape but are both playing well in limited snaps.

When you look at MTs development , you can pick out the good things you see or you can find things to criticize. The Bears have been bad for so long it seems that a lot of you look for failure because that is what were use to . I swear you cheer for failure so you can say look at me, i was right. This team is not the same as other teams we have been use to. It is at the stage where it is to about to take the next step and be on the winning side of a record. Pace has made many mistakes to get to this point in a total rebuild of the team. I also might add he is did many good changes also. We get one of the best 3 defensiveness players in the league and instead of enjoying the ride, you want to complain we paid to much. I see us on the verge of being a very good team. For some it seems like it has to be instant success or the whole plan is failure. When we finally get on the right side of winning, they will be people on here than complains about how flawed it is . If you want to be debbie downer all the time , good luck with that, but I am going to enjoy the ride. We win a game and so many on here want to pick everything a part. If perfection is what you seek, I suggest you pick a different sport because you won't find that in football.

My point on Watson was last year he looked like all world after his run and this year he looks more like a work in progress. I am not sure any of us have seen a QB be developed before. Let's have a conversation towards the end of the year about where his growth is. In 2 years when we compare Watson, MT and Mahonnes, we may have a better perspective on who they are.

first things first, WE WON THE GAME, we have a dominate defense. They look tired in the last quarter but the NFL is always going to take a few weeks to get up to speed because of practice rules in the off season. Positives- D and is going to get better. We would like to think every play is awesome but the truth is the other team will make some plays. I like the offensive mentality of not being predictable. As far as consistency, we will be a different team in the middle of the season than we are right now. Everybody stated that and now that we are going through those growing pains, it is like a surprise . Allen Robinson is the real deal, a true #1. Negatives- We did not run the ball very well which goes back on the Oline. Need to fix that. MT is a work in progress. He has some good plays and then bad. I still think the arrow is pointing up until it doesn't. To me , on his bad throws, I do not see him setting his feet. last year we hailed D. Watson and if you look at these first two games, it is not so pretty. Mahonnes is the latest comparison but I think that is unfair. He has the same system and sat on the bench to learn his first year. He has excellent targets. The good thing , the system that is making Mahonnes look good is here now, but will take some time to get it smooth. If MT looks like this in week 8, then we can question him but a little early to be Nelly negative.

I think in a game situation, he is not throwing 30 passes in 30 snaps. In the preseason he had chemistry with Trey Burton but you will notice, Burton only had one catch. If I was head coach, I would have played him more in every game, but I am just a fan and my decisions will not cost my job as a fan.

True, but if he had more time simply working with the offense in 'game time' mode, he'd be that more in tune and better prepared to deal with changes like that. Just to be clear, I don't blame him (Trubisky) solely for the loss, Nagy had a lot to do with it. And yes, I feel the Bears must win next week against Seattle to not only redeem themselves but not make Mack think he made a mistake in signing with this team. lol. I do not believe 30 more snaps matter to the development of MT. As I look at the landscape, we are the healthiest we have ever been going into the season. Remember if we played MT, then the other starters would be out there and maybe a key injury. I think Nagy knows it will take some time for all of this to fall in place so he was cautious. In the overall picture, it just doesn't matter.

28-20 Seahawks Can I suggest taking an antidepressant drug. Wilson's Oline sucks, I suspect Fangio has Smith shadowing all day, so not much in the running game for him. The running game isnt very good for Seattle. The only way this game goes the wrong way is if we have several TO's. The only vet in the DBackfield for Seattle is Thomas. They will get touched today. Oh by the way, Wright and Wagner arent playing today. This will not go well for Seahawks.

I'm calling 30-16. SeaHs get a late TD after we get tired. I think they try to get Burton heavily involved and Robinson scores a TD. Howard goes over 100 and 5 PCs. 1 TD. Cohen scores a TD and the defense scores again.

I doubt if they give him 100% of the snaps but would rather have a inexperienced Smith than a slow Kwiat

Another note, RR-H can play. Had several pressures plus the sack. Need to mention Mack is all world. I can't wait until he is playing 90% of the plays.

I live and die with our wins, do I get angry, no, just feel bad. Very excited after the first half, but when I seen Rodgers come back in, I knew this was going to be close game. Their is a handful of plays that turned the game. If we just got one of them that went our way, we would have won the game. We are very close. Many are saying this is the same old shit. It is not even close. Our defense will be dominate in a couple of weeks. Nagy will make some mistakes but I believe he will improve on his play calling. MT is going to be good and bad , that will take some time but with the improvement of the rest of the offense, his learning curve will be much quicker. The lost is the only thing that is SOS, be patient its coming sooner than we may expect.

I bought the NFL game pass this year because I will be spending a lot of time in Thailand so I can watch the games. I have been watching the tape of the game in a condense state and have a few observations. I only have watched the first half several times not into the second half yet. On the one play that we ended up kicking a FG, MT moved to the right in a passing situation. He turned and threw to Miller that didnt advanced, Cohen slid out to the right to the goal line and was wide open. It should have been a TD instead of settling for a FG. Both OTs looked good in these drives. our DEs got held a lot on passing downs, particularly Floyd, they were bear hugging him almost every time. its amazing more holding penalties were not called. Kwiat took a lot of bad angles to the RBs and was out of position when in coverage. He is a backup, PERIOD You can tell the club on Floyds had is bothering him a lot, you can't control your rushes when you only put one hand on a OT to make your second moves. Hicks is a beast was double teams consistently.

This is nothing like our recent past, the losing is but this is a whole different offense that will not be fully functional until at least mid season if not next year. The defense will be up to speed once Mack and Smith are up to speed, 2 more weeks for that. The offense will have good times and bad times, but the pieces are in place for a full arsenal of good. It is just going to take time. Nagy is learning so he will screw up to but he's not John Fox or Trestman. We're walking up the stairs, its one step at a time.

This was on Nagy. In his last two games that count.(last year in KC) He shit the bed. Hope he learns fast. actually in the KC game a sideline reporter stated that Reid took over play calling in the second half of that game that was not on Nagy but this game was.

First of all after getting by the disappointment, we were playing ARod in GB, the outcome is usually very bad, this looked a little better. I think the defense got fatigued in the second half and showed in a lack of pass rush and some blown coverage's We were a Kyle Fuller dropped INT away from winning that game.MT had to much adrenaline at the end of the game and missed on several game ending plays..( he's not ready yet to take over a game) but the arrow is pointing up. I think if we had given Howard the ball more at the end of the game we would have won the contest. I think if MT had rolled out on those late pass plays he would have had a good option to run when no one was open. It may have turned out different. We were a few individual plays away from winning that game. Mack besides Aaron Donald the best D player in the league. He walked out of a gym and put on a D onslaught in limited snaps. Smith will make tackles that Kwiat couldnt get to . Nagy gets a C+ for play calling but I will say we have a legitimate NFL offense now. I get drunk with Koolaid every week so I always think we should look like we did in the first half but the truth is, I just wanted us to look respectable playing in GB in our first game. I think we accomplished that. Lots to complain about but now we have many things to look forward to. Mack Smith Allen Rob Howard Cohen RHH Hicks The defense is two weeks away from being dominate.
