Some bloggers are always drinking kool aid and some are always condemning everything. IM somewhere in the middle, try to be an optimist and a a realist at the same time. As far as Houston goes, he is an idiot but if last years laughable behaviour makes him work harder this year, that is good for everybody.

I have to honest with guys about something. I am usually in 5 to 6 leagues every year and I do well in most them leagues with a 50% rate of making money in those leagues,1st,2nd,3rd,4th, but I rarely do well in these leagues. The reason why? most you guys are pretty smart at FF . Just throwing out kudos for those that deserve it. I think we should add $5 more to the money pool. Most in the money league are proven players and am in for more of better winnings. In the 5 leagues Im in their 40-50-60-60-70 with the money and know 5 bucks will not kill anybody here on increasing the pool. What say you?

If all of those come to pass,or even 3/4, we would make the playoffs this year. The three things that will matter the most: The Oline is healthy and consistent. That will make Cutler and the running game work. Cutler ends his streak of being a turnover machine. We develop a pass rush which makes every phase of the defense better.

If he does real well this year, I see them bringing him back for one more year and drafting his successor. As long as the oline does there job, I think he has a chance to succeed.

I am hopeful he does well, but just think Boxer is drinking coolaid. I am not sure where Foster was rated coming out of college, but people like Morris, Foster,C.J. Anderson were never expected to be as good as they turned out. I think his speed gives him a leg up, but with football players it is a lot of desire and work ethic and some succeed and some fall. Trent Richardson for example.

The key to the offense working well is the offensive line. I think if we would just do it and put Long at LT, move Bushrod to RT and either Ducasse or Ola at RG and let them grow together we might end up being pretty good on Offense.

We have a lot of smart people on here and read on WINDY CITY GRIDIRON that there are looking for some writers and Bear fans to contribute to their site. I dont have any creditable past moments to think I could contribute but have the desire, but will have to wait until I retire from my job to take a shot at anything like that. BUT is there anybody on here that could contribute to that website? It obviously is not a paying job, but would be somebodies hobby. Like I said there are a lot of smart and passionate people on here, anybody interested? the guy you need to contact is Dane Noble and he is on twitter.

I agree but if he's right, we may have a better defense than I anticipated.

Matt Miller of Bleacher Report ranked 3-4 OLBs. What I found interesting was Acho was ranked 25th and McPhee #2. I expected McP to be high but not Acho.

We have added so many new faces this year, so who shines? I am referring to standing out like a pro bowl participate type. I am throwing out Goldman as a stud with pro bowl type of season. It your turn?>

BR has its good and bad, but has lots of info, and I like Matt Miller quite a bit. As far as giving up a late round pick to acquire a S draft is mute. If he is a good prospect and we can get him with a 6th or 7, why not now instead of next years draft.

I had a team in both leagues also (Victorious Secret), I wont be getting in the non pay league. I was in 6 leagues last year and starting playing DraftKings, so I am only getting in ones that involve money, just dont have time to invest in non money leagues.

we have brought in two players for try outs, Sherrod Martin/S and Daniel Thomas/RB---two former 2nd round picks. I can see us looking at Ss but curious why were still looking at RBs?

Long has been playing the LT position in the mini camp we have been engaged in.

Love what Chicago has to offer, but we dont have to live there or blow smoke up there ass. Everybody is different and Im ok with that.

I heard on the SCORE that what put in a waiver claim for Tim Wright /TE but TB was higher on the waiver list. We keep searching for TEs, I wonder if they think MB wont be at minicamp next week.

Mainly for an upgrade at the position. Ducasse was just a depth move, Ola played some at the OT position last year. So he adds depth there. Like Jason stated, if we think we can win now go for Mathis, in not, develop Ola or Groy.

For some reason some fans have problems letting go of the past. I think every player has a life expectancy and when its his time, I have no problem letting go.Will have fond memories and look for the new guy to root for. That's the reality of the NFL.
