  1. Wow I finally beat you on posting some info, it was only by one minute and put it on the rumors thread
  2. Just seen a tweet where Royal told chargers he is signing with the bears. from a charger beat guy
  3. Rolle had a tweet saying he was asking God for a sign of what to do and shows a picture of Orbitz Chicago flights(when he woke up at 4:33 this morning)
  4. He is a pain in the ass, why do teams getting rid of him?
  5. Scott Chandler was released in Buf, has some game as a #2 TE. Anthony Collins/RT was released in TB. was not very good last year but played well in Cincy
  6. I would say a hangup in most contracts is guaranteed money.
  7. There going to upgrade the position without over paying for the position. Moore Stevie Brown Delmas Darin Stewart Goldson Marcus Gilcrest Ron Parker Nate Allen there are still a lot of Ss out there, Parker and Rolle hae been targeted, we will get us one if not two.
  8. I dont think there is any question about a fat guy being fast or not. I just think at 7 you should get an impact player. A nose tackle is not usually considered an impact position. Wilfork was drafted at 21st spot in the first round. Haloti Ngata drafted 12th in the first round. Dan Williams drafted 26th in the first round. Wilford was considered the best in his prime, but not a high pick. Sporting Charts explains Nose Tackle The nose tackle is the anchor of a defensive line. Generally, the responsibility of the nose tackle is to clog up as much of the middle of the offensive line as possible to allow the other defensive players to make plays. Nose tackles tend not to make a large impact statistically due to the nature of the position, but they can have an enormous impact on the offense's ability to run the football if they can keep the offense from opening holes for the running back. Nose tackles are often double teamed by the offensive line in order to move them in a preferred direction depending on the play call.
  9. I think they expected more money and now are considering if they can get a better contract. havent heard reporting them meeting with any other teams. Has anybody heard that?
  10. Bears identified their biggest need and grabbed McPhee, now we know they wanted team friendly contracts, no going wild on the FA front. Still in play for Pot (pork chop)Roast, he wants 8, not sure we offered close to that but was more than the 5 Raiders offered. Rolle,Parker, Royal all have been offered contracts, so who knows which way they go , but plenty of players still out there, just not going nuts with money.(no problem with that)
  11. The reason, the perception is they dont succeed when leaving Ravens is they get paid big money. They are projecting a player on the rise that fits our scheme. There is risk in that like all FA signing usually are. Optimistic it will turn out well.
  12. We have so many needs, what ever player is at 7 would be welcome. ON a good team Jeffery is a #2 and hopefully we become that. We have to see how FA shakes out to see which way we go in the first round. I would like to move down and grab some extra picks. With a high pick you take the best player. Would be wise to the the 3rd best OLB after just spending 40 mil for one? or the top WR? (julio Jones type)
  13. With the 7th pick that would be the #1 WR not Jeffery. If all our needs are filled in FA for the most part, they will take the BPA. WR,OT,QB, another pass rusher?
  14. Fox talked about having a balanced attack, having a stud WR would make anytime better.
  15. I heard on a twitter feed from Josina Anderson. Raiders offered only 5 mil per year and our offer was higher without listing an amount. He wants 8 mil per year.
  16. So were going to bank our 3rd WR spot on his last years performance? He is not going to get everything given to him, for sure will look for more help.
  17. Wilson still has to prove himself, they will bring in a draft pick besides if we sign Royal
  18. So far we have McPhee Royal and Rolle in town, so good chance we are in play. Knighton ruled out Raiders and Denver for low balling. We made the highest offer but still looking for more money. Colts has been on a spending spree and just signed Langford so there are probably out of it. Wash still the wildcard, but they gave Paea 5 mil per year, may not want to spend that much on another DT Helu is gone but Moreno and Thomas could be good additions with ties to our current leaders. Parker has been made an offer but is still looking for more money. Green is gone but we have shown interest in Houser/ARI , so they are still looking for a 2nd legit TE for 2 TE sets. ILB still has all the players, Foster,Lofton, Irving CBs Culliver and Cox still in play They had the one big signing and now are bargaining for spots to fill.
  19. so does that mean we will be signing them?
  20. There starting over, there in cap hell and no way out, so sell off and start over. Brees is next, maybe he plays here for a couple of years, only if we can trade Cutler.
  21. Heard we made the highest offer, but still not what Pot Roast expected, but still may be here.
  22. There is no way that is happening, if NO is rebuilding why take on a 16 mil cap hit, since they have cap problems already.
  23. It would be nice if we get him , you like fat guys.
  24. There is others out there, we will be ok. That is who I wanted.
