  1. Thats what I was thinking too. Jared will get 2 years worth of snaps over 3 years. They will be smart with his time. There will be plenty of reps for all the DEs. Houston will play a lot of DT and everybody will be happy. I had to work 10 hours today so I am late to the party. I am willing to go out on a limb and say we are a top 10 in sacks this year. When they have our top rush line out then you leash a SMC on a rush and we start to kick ass. Our first pick in the draft will be a BPA type and Emery could go anywhere with that pick. I suspect it will be a S or CB, and maybe a DT. We still have needs everywhere but he will take the impact player we need and it could be anywhere. I personally would like to trade down in the 20's and keep the name Hageman on you mind because he is exactly the type of player he will draft if we move down.
  2. I have to say, your were right about the Band of Cutler, I thought no way we were doing that this year.
  3. There are still a few names out there(TE) and I would not doubt that at all. Daniels,Keller,Scheffler. The more I think about it the more we have a few signings left instead of one big one with the extra money we got from The Bank of Cutler.
  4. I think Hester did a good job last year, but he is not a 3 mil a year guy as some people purpose on here. The rule changes have made him ineffective on KRs anymore and on punts he makes to many fair catches and lets the ball drop to much. Just not the player he use to be and you have to ask u what thats worth. Obviously not much to us. Hope he does gets one more TD but he doesnt do it in bunches anymore, just not worth 3 mil.
  5. What about a 5-2 with Houston moving inside and and Bostic or SMC moving to a hand on the ground in some rush packages. With the new coaches they got and versatile players, there going to show many different looks.
  6. your on here 24-7 Im sure you have said almost anyting at one time or another, hard to keep track.
  7. Your dreaming on that thought.
  8. Hey its something to talk about, life is boring right now
  9. with the Bears getting more cap space open, it aint for Mark Sanchez.

Im sure almost any QB in league always thinks he should be a #1 until the reality hits that their not as good as they think they are. One reason they brought up Sanchez and us is Matt Cavaugh(spelled that wrong) was his QB coach from 2007 until 2011. A connection.
  11. I agree, he is not the player he use to be. The key to this discussion is how well who they replace him with.If he does well the conversation will be over with, if he is not very good, we will here from Jason all season.
  12. Donald and Quarles are both 3 T type tackles. I suspect they would go with a bigger DT with the second choice.

We need to remember Josh McCown wasnt anything special until last year, so the system and Trestman had something to do with it. We can find another one to take his place.
  14. thanks looked at the wrong numbers.
  15. If the players are that close in ability probably wouldnt be a good signing, although maybe he is better than Mundy.
  16. Not sure where you got your information but Over the Cap listed his hit as 8.6 and change.
  17. I like Matt Miller but seen where last year PFF had him rated as the 16th best safety. Forgot who but someone had him rated as the 15th best FA this year.I think , if we sign him he would start along side Mundy. Although I agree he seems more of a SS, but need to check him out more.
  18. Just seen a report on Bleacher report that James Ihedigbo/S is deciding between us and Detroit as to who to sign with.
  19. If he goes to Seattle he wont be getting that kind of money. More like 2 year 13 mil.
  20. They got Mundy with the intent of him starting, but at a low salary for two years they would allow a SS to develop as a later pick. If we get Clemons he is a above average safety and doubt if we go safety in the first two rounds. More like a CB and DT.
  21. Star QB, hot women, good teammate. Let him cry, Im envious.
  22. What I dont understand is there listings. Jimmie Ward had 7 int and 10 pass breakups yet they list him in the box type of safety. To me that is a center fielder type(FS). There are 4 safetys that will start as rookies. HaHa-Pryor-Ward-Bucannon. I wouldnt mind any of them but the more I read about them the more I like Pryor and Ward a little better. Another sleeper to throw out there is Huff/Wyo he was productive and has some speed.4.38 speed 127 t-2 int-9 PBU.He is listed as a FS ad CB on different sites. Possibly could play either.See him as a 4th or 5th round pick. 6' 195 lbs.Seems more of SS to me, a tackle machine and has some pass defense skills.
  23. Instead of Bronco, stick a cladly dressed Honey Bear photo. I know you have them. She will be more noticed than a distant relative of the Bears. It makes a statement on the demise of the Honey Bears(an underdeveloped story) and adds some modern dress to the awesome banner you propose. At least throw it up there for discussion.
