Intersting O-Line Article Featuring Long & Massie
I think they may be the future but not sure that is how it plays out this year. I think Rameriz may start in front of Grassu and Larson may start with Whitehair later in the season.

Probable vet cuts
With Balt drafting Stanley, I can see Eugene Monroe being traded or cut. He would definitly be an upgrade as the LT and is only 29, would have 3 to 4 years left at a high level. With Hargraeves going to TB and then grabbing Grimes in FA I can see them cutting loose of Alterraun Verner/CB. He played well before he got to TB and he is 27.

Now that the draft is over...
I would like that draft better, but unfortunately you werent in the draft room.

So Much Competition
Houston and McPhee, and probably Floyd could slide up on the line without changing personal. I think we have the 3 inside Nick-Tevanthan and Freeman 6 outside Floyd,McPhee, Houston,Young,Roberson-Harris and maybe Ocho Ocho may get cut and then probably could keep Timu

I actually think DHC has a better shot of being the starter than Bush.
-
Big fan of Houston!
I think he is more likely to stay and Young be the odd man out.

Cornelius Washington
At 6'4" 285, he fits the part, but in four years has always been a no show, hard to get excited about him with no progress.

So Much Competition
I just seen info that we have an offer out to Obien Schonfield/OLB that is a still a FA.

Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
I think SCS was right, it the board fell like it should have, Hargraeves would have been gone, Giants would have took Floyd, actually I think we would have took Rankins the next other speed rusher available.

Slauson released
I think Long is the true leader of the OLine and with a vet like Massie there, we wont have any issues going forward.

Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
ya you never know how that works out,if Spriggs is still there at 41, do we take him? I think that was a possiblity.

As vets get cut, I suspect we will kick the tires on some. I would say LT and TE are probably the only two that make sense. Possibly that we look at CB but if you noticed the roster, Bausby, De'Vante Callahan, Bryce Fuller, Kyle Glenn, Jacoby McManis, Sherrick Porter, Tracy All draftee are listed as DBs and have played both S and CB Hall, Houston-Carson, Bush and then we added UDFAs Peterson and Calhoun We have 11 potential CBs on the roster, I dont see us going after a FA until we sort out the mess we have.

After Brian left , everything feel apart, you cant use him as the reason for turning into a terrible defense. Many contributed to the down hill slide.

Wow, you pick a few highlights and make that a career statement? Well lets see, Cutler has started every year of his career. Hoyer has yet to start a full year for anybody. We all like to hang on to likable players but this shit just happens. With everybody they have gotten rid of, I got it, this one not so much.

What I am saying is give him his guaranteed money for a hit this year, and pay him like 9 mil for the average of his contract. Have it so this first year cap hit is 35 mil. and figure out a salary base more cap friendly moving forward.

I think they probably told him but waited until they added a draftee before they did the damage.

One draft problem
I honestly think Thayer likes the guy. I have heard him be team sensitive and still gave criticism

Slauson released
I dont like this move, but they are very serious about making over this roster. He didnt fit the Oline scheme, and had some health issues. I understand more at what there doing. Let me say, they are not done with changing the roster. There will be some other head scracters before its all done.

Slauson released
They say there is a health issure going forward. He missed time the year before so it might be a degeneration problem. Also he has a better chance of catching on with someone now that waiting till training camp.

UDFA Thread
Here is the new updated list on UDFAs. Joe Sommers/TE/Wisconsin-Oshkosh Roy Robertson-Harris/DE/UTEP Dan Buchholz/G/Duquense Kevin Peterson/LB/OSU John Kling/OT/Buffalo Roy Robertson/DL/UTEP Ben Braunecker/TE/Harvard Don Cherry/LB/Villanova Darrin Peterson/WR/ (Bonus) Mark Sewall/S/Indiana State (tryout) John Kling/OT/Buffalo Alex Hansen/DE/Air Force (invite) Taveze Calhoun/CB/Mississippi State Charlie Dowdle/TE/St. Thomas (invite) Kieren Duncan/WR/CSU-Pueblo (tryout) They keep throwing darts at the board to upgrade the roster. Everybody should remember that Malik Jackson was a 5th round pick and Trevathan was a 6th pick. The point is , you can find guys late in the draft and as Undrafted players.

Heard some more interesting info from Gabriel, the reason they passed on the two Alabama DL was they were looking for DT with more speed. That starts to make alot of sense. Bullard brings more speed than Reed or Robinson. They are all in on speed and being more athletic.I am starting to understand their draft a little more.

Lemmings posted on twitter, that they might need the cap space to finish a deal with Jeffery. They will front load a deal to use this year as the big hit.
