I've been quiet about Floyd because I thought they were set on OLBs, but if they did take one, he was the one I wanted.....I'm OK with this.

I don't think it's the right choice, but they were searching for Von Miller. The trade up was unnecessary. The trade up made sense for a guy like Tunsil who shouldn't have been there at 9. NO way. All that said, I think it works for the Bears. He's explosive.

One thing I'll say about Floyd is that he played full-time LB so he's better in coverage than someone like Lawson. Plus we can still take advantage of the depth at DL to find a starter there.

Pretty much how I feel about it. I think trading up for Tunsil was the homerun pick. No way he should have been there at 9. No freaking way.

 

But if Floyd ends up being a stand up triple, I'll be OK with it.

Lets face it , we have no idea on this turns out, but they traded up for him, so they must think he can be the man. Now time will tell if they were right.

He is faster than smith was but has to put on some weight. needs to be 250.
