Getsy: it's not always about confusing defenses, this is the NFL, sometimes your guy just has to run over their guy. So having Mooney be your lead blocker, and asking a WR to carry a guy several yards on his back, might not be the best thing. I know Moore has done it before, but those were DBs, not LBs. He has to get to that ball. I think that has to do with the difference between the Cover 2 and the Tampa 2. I think Edmunds would be an Urlacher in Tampa 2, but that's not Eberflus' thing. First Getsy can't get a yard, then Flus allows Goff time to find an open guy on 4th down. They can't give him that much time on a known passing down. There is the Getsy offense back after their scripted drives are over. He doesn't know what to do. The worst time for a 3 and out, following an opponent's TD.
