Hate those injuries - I want to beat them with everyone there. Want bears to learn what it takes to beat the best.

Hoping we get good news on Odunze and we see Bears play their best game yet next Saturday night!!! Let’s go bears!!!

I honestly don’t. I want them to be riddled by season-ending injuries. I want them to be completely barren. I want them to suffer.

This goes all the way back to Charles Martin and the never-ending string of Bears’ QBs afterwards. I’ll never let it go. Especially when they get back to back HOF QBs over the stretch of 20 years, followed by what appears to be yet another franchise QB.

And, unfortunately for us older fans, we remember HOF QB Bart Starr from the 1950's. How can one team manage to have three HOF-quality QBs spanning the entire Super Bowl Era? I was praying J Love would suck, leaving the Packers in the QB Hell the Bears have suffered for so long.

I try to talk myself into, the Packers aren't very good but they are. This game will define how far we have come this year. Winning is all that will matter.

This game may define where we are as a team culture, but without Odunze and Burden, we can make a gut check call, but we cant demonstrate how dominant our offense is, theyd have to go off too to do that. But can we win? Hell yes.

I expect a lot of running, play action to TEs, and hopefully we can get Moore involved, but i bet theyll double him. I sure hope 12 and 14 are ready to go.

Not on here but many people talking about picking up Matt Judon. This is why you don't.

I seen one report we picked up Judon but I usually like to see 2 to verify it. If he helps, good signings, if not,no big deal.

Bears lead the NFL in Rushing First Downs with 123. The next closest team is BUF with 116, but they have 41 from Allen at QB.

Bears lead the NFL in Takeaways with 30. The next closest team is JAX with 26. Crazy how much takeaways correlate with success. The top 11 teams in takeaways:
CHI 10-4, JAX 10-4, HOU 9-5, LAR 11-4, PIT 8-6, SEA 12-3, LAC 10-4, TB 7-7, BUF 10-4, and IND 8-6. PHI is 11th at 9-5.

Packers were 5-4 on the road last year and 5-6 in 2023, but are currently 4-2-1 this year. So they are due for a correction.

Now Deandre Swift on the injury report.  Potentially aggravated the groin injury from earlier in the season.  Listed as questionable.

Jacobs is also questionable.

This!  I hate them.  Forrest Gregg was the filthiest piece of shit coach I've ever seen.  He created Charles Martin in a circle jerk with Satan.  Not only did they destroy Mac's shoulder, I remember them throwing Payton into the bench.  We hit hard.  They hit dirty.  My brother is a Packer fan and he's a smug little POS two weekends of the year.  He's the type to rub it in after the game too.  I talk my smack before, not after.  F the Packers and their fans.

Is there any chance that Rome and Luther can play this week? If players are ruled out in the week, can this change at game time? Unsure whether the league can deactivate players to prevent clubs from falsifying their injury reports.

No

Been Johnson tells it as he sees it.  I was surprised by how complimentary he was of the depth we have at receiver all the way down to guys on the practice squad.  He said they’ve been practicing well and have a good understanding of the offense.  No names were mentioned but obviously Jahdae Walker is one of them.  Are we about to be pleasantly surprised again by one of our backups?

I think Jahdae Walker is a hidden gem.  I forget which program he came from, but they didn't feature the pass.  He's tall, agile and fast. (A trait we don't have in the starters). I really liked the contested catches he made in the pre season.  He showed Tyler Scott the door.

I wanted him to get a little more work in the last game but he ended up with just 8 snaps.  However that little bit gave the coaches a glimpse of how well he did his job.  Caleb got to see it too which on all the timing stuff we run is important to give the QB some confidence in him.  Toss in another week of practice with the 1s.

Looks like Texas A&M by way of Grand Valley State University (Allendale Michigan).  I couldn't remember him from the preseason but then saw a bunch of highlights where he did that crazy  floating running thing along the sideline.

BJ will scheme this to fit whatever personal is on the field. DJ will get a proper number of targets which is a good thing. Kmet and Loveland will have big days. Both of them have a high percentage of catch rate. We get to see Walker get some snaps and it will work well because GB doesn't have any tape on him . He will surprise.

Edmunds will probably have a snap count but that's okay because D Jack is playing well.

Thank you thank you for not calling it a pitch count like all the so called sports journalists.

If someone else gets injured in pre-game warmups tonight, I'm going to be livid. Really worried about Edmunds and Swift, in particular.

Line down to GB -1.5.

With Parsons, GB as a team, has 33 sacks. Without Parsons+Wyatt, the rest of the roster has 16.5. The Bears have 29.

For INTs, the Bears have 21, GB has 7.

GB now +1, which is exactly where it should be. My congonkulator has the Bears by 1.3, but that is too close to call. Refs can impact the game by +/- 3, so this is well within the margin of a pick em game.

To me it comes down to the Bears defense ability to stop GB enough to win. I think the Bears score at least 20, 2 TDs and 2 FGs, but I am hoping for 3 TDs and 2 FGs for 27. The defense has to hold GB to a max of 2 TDs. So 20-23 total pts allowed. 27-23 seems like it is the most accurate projection.
