I'm gonna spend five days in Chicago during this and next week and need some help on what to do. Most important: I need to find myself a good sports bar for the Bears game Sunday! I'll be staying downtown close to the Millenium Park. Any recommendations? Best way to get downtown from the airport? Taxi or are there any kind of bus or train? I will be buying jerseys! Any recommendation of sports stores that are affordable or having a great selection? Or is the official store the way to go? Good bars and restaurants that are affordable! I need to try polish sausages and pizza, but where? I enjoy music a lot. Indiepop, metal, punkrock, jazz you name …

First off, congrats to Obama! Second, this article shows that GW put his country before himself with the war on Iraq. He took a lot of criticism and I think a lot of American's should at least consider what he did and give him some credit. Subject: Bush FINALLY vindicated on WMD in Iraq ... > > > > .... > > > > A national defense analyst says President Bush should be commended for > > keeping quiet about a discovery that could have blown his critics out > > of the water. > > > > Retired Major General Jerry Curry is a decorated combat veteran who > > served as an Army aviator, paratrooper,…

Is there a site where I can download the Madden 09 updates and put them on a disc? I currently don't have an XBOX Live account or hook up. I have an Xbox 360.

Looking for some good open ended strategy/adventure type games for the Xbox360. The type of games where you have free reign to do as you please for the most part and can pick your own path/goals instead of being forced to follow one preset path. One game I'm looking at is Fallout 3 which I've heard good things about. I picked up a copy of Sid Meir's Civilization Revolution and I've been hooked on that I like games that have depth and many choices and the choices you make have an effect but also provide multiple paths to victory. I'm by no means an avid hardcore gamer, I'm not to big on the first person shooters and overly complex games drive me nuts. After 12 …

For those who can stand heights, the new "Ledge" that will allow visitors to the Sears Tower Skydeck to look straight down 1,353 feet opens Thursday at 9 a.m. The Ledge--actually enclosed glass boxes--extends about 4.3 feet from the building, according to the Skydeck Web site, and is touted to provide "never-before-seen" views of Chicago. First opened in 1974, the Skydeck attracts about 1.3 million people annually. The 1,500-pound glass panels used in the Ledge's construction on the 103rd floor of the skyscraper were installed by MTH Industries, the same architectural metal contractor that installed the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millennium Park, accordi…

I figure there is a chunk of Cubs/Sox fans on here and since both teams were vying for his services thought I'd throw this out there. As a Sox fan I just hope the club is planning on finding a leadoff hitter and a centerfielder because they don't have one on the current roster.

You can find the calculator here: http://taxcut.barackobama.com/ For 95% of Americans, their taxes will go down under Obama; if you make over $250,000, you'll pay more. Don't believe Obama? Well, as Parade Magazine points out, if you're really, really, really, rich, John McCain will save you hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes. If you're really really rich, vote McCain! If not, you'll lose money going with Johnny Square-Jaw.

Here is a breakdown of the Chicago Bears in Madden 2010, includes ratings and some analysis on how to use the Bears in 2010. I look forward to actually using a QB that has accuracy as opposed to years in the past using Orton/Grossman. With Cutler + Forte + Hester + Olsen....this offense is going to be amazing. http://www.chicitysports.com/2009/08/09/ch...in-madden-2010/ Zach Bowman is only a 53 ovr....I definitely see EA upgrading his ovr via roster update through out the season if he continues to play like he has been in the training camp. Bears are going to be a legit team to use in Madden 2010 I think.

A new 30-second spot on Barack Obama's Web site is urging voters to "talk to your boss" or professor and then take the day off from work or school to volunteer for his campaign on Election Day. The "Take the Day" campaign suggests voters sign up to go to battleground states or work in phone banks closer to home on Nov. 4, when they would normally be at work or in class. "We can't win this election unless every Obama supporter gets out and votes on November 4th. To do that, we need a massive team of volunteers helping us. Can you take next Tuesday off from work, join the final push, and make sure that everyone who supports Barack turns out to vote?" asks the Web …

I've had enough of this " sport". It's inhumane to run these horses to death for the benefit of gambling. These horses are all hopped up on drugs, horse owners are recklessly over-breeding these horses and thousands are slaughtered senseless as a byproduct of this industry. This coming from someone who used to love the track. I event spent two summers working at Arlington in high school. But even back then I saw signs that this wasn't something I wanted to be a part of. The stables are run by people who treat the immigrant workers like garbage and those people in turn take it out on the horses. On top of that they drug these horses on a regular basis-morphine, ecs…

Here are 12 of the finest double-entendres that were aired on TV & Radio 1. Pat Glenn, weightlifting commentator - "And this is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning and it was amazing!" 2. New Zealand Rugby Commentator - "Andrew Mehrtens loves it when Daryl Gibson comes inside him. " 3. Ted Walsh - Horse Racing Commentator - "This is really a lovely horse. I once rode her mother." 4. Harry Carpenter at the Oxford-Cambridge boat race 1977 - " Ah, isn't that nice. The wife of the Cambridge President is kissing the Cox of the Oxford crew." 5. US PGA Commentator - "One of the reasons Arnie (Arnold Palmer) is playing so well…

In our PPR league I traded Pierre Thomas and Willis McGahee for Matt Forte. This trade opened a roster spot for me but required the other guy to drop a player. I was absolutely shocked at who he dropped. Percy Harvin??? even more shocking considering it now leaves him with only 2 WR on his roster (bench included, and 6 RB) He also has 3 QB, 2 Def, 1 TE, and 1 kicker. Personally I'd have dropped one of my RBs or my 3rd QB and that would be Matt Flyn since he'll likely only get snaps in a blowout or the very unlikely case where Rodgers goes down with injury beyond maybe a one game loss for concussion. If I were to handcuff a QB (which I wouldn't) I'd see it more o…

PPR league. We start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex (WR/RB), 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def. I may be able to limp into the playoffs in my league but I'm totally not confident in my team anymore. With two weeks to go before the playoffs, and the trade deadline looming Nov 23rd. My roster as it stands now QB - Aaron Rodgers RBs - Shonn Greene, Stevan Ridley, Donald Brown, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Jordy Nelson, Titus Young, Victor Cruz, Malcom Floyd, James Jones TE - Brandon Pettigrew K - Matt Bryant Def - Falcons I'm at the point now that I'm trying to figure out who on my team is worth keeping, who I should drop, and who I should trade away. If this were your ro…
