It is pretty funny when they talk about a drop in production, but the guy had half as many targets as he had the two years prior. So of course his receptions and yardage would be down. Every WR on Miami had a down year (maybe the QB's fault or the game plan?). Funny that they cut Hartline and Gibson, are looking to trade Wallace but are keeping Jarvis Landry and his 9.0 yds/rec which is less than their TEs (Clay/Sims). Hartline seems like a durable possession guy.

The Chicago Bears officially announced the signing of linebacker Brian Iwuh to a one-year contract on Monday, and the team also released tight end Kevin Brock.

Old Spice commercial is freakin hillarious. I love how he says who's laughing now....Me. Sorry, I saw it last night and just a few minutes ago on MNF, and wanted to hear what all of you had to say about it. Last night when it came on I laughed so hard my wife gave me the WTF look. Does Briggs look really fat and out of shape???? He looks totally different in pads this year. I would think with this being his last year in contract he would have shown up in the best shape possible.

Briggs said it was not about the money however, with the way he acted last year receiving the franchise tag makes you think otherwise. Now what do they do with Brian and Tommie to keep the two of them happy. In a way I think this is good that for once we keep our core linebackers together, it just creates new problems that need to be resolved as well.

OLB Calvin Pace just signed w/ NYJ. 6yr/$42m w/ a $20m SB. Like Adalius Thomas, Pace was seen as an OLB in a 3-4 that can generate a pass rush, as well as play OLB. I realize Briggs could not have fit, but he can not be happy about this. Once again, I use this as evidence Harris better not over-play his hand. IMHO, a big reason the market was not there for Briggs is because he plays in a system that caters to his position, thus putting into question his ability to play in any system. Also, his value in a 3-4 is really questioned, as he never showed much of a pass rushing potential in Chicago. IMHO, Harris does not fit every team, and frankly, I am not…
