Plus, while he's not terribly physical, he does have legit size for the NFL and brings a pure speed dimension our RBs don't currently have. I haven't watched a lot of his games, but a friend of mine who follows Texas football says he's one of those guys who can get stuffed for 3 plays and then take it to the house, so he's inconsistent when you watch him, but at the end of the day, the numbes are there. Any other thoughts on him?

First the call the fake punt catch by Peterson and then the no call on the absolute mugging of Olson at the end of the game. Glad we won but this game should have never gone to overtime. Peace

This was a great win for us, one that the team can really build upon. Offense moved the ball well at times but penalties killed us too often. Despite all the negative plays Cutler kept his focus an stayed within the game plan. Same goes for Gase who didn't fall into the trap of abandoning the run despite the Packers focus on stopping it. This is the elephant in the room. The Bears have to get serious on this issue and find a solution this spring. Word on the street is this QB class is not appealing since the choices are not blue chip products. The current blue chip list contains Myles Garrett, Jonathon Allen, Jamal Adams, and Malik Hooker. I found this hilarious. Everyone talks about how good the Patriots are and everything so much it makes most of us sick. So check this out. My information is from NFLDraftBible on Twitter. Between 2005-2008 the Patriots had a total of 26 picks and hit on just 3 of them. (Meriweather/Mayo/D. Thomas) He refuses to call Gostkowski a hit because he was a 4th rd pick where Brandon Marshall was selected just after him and Elvis Dumervil and also Ray Edwards later in the rd. He refuses to call a 4th rd pick on a Kicker a hit. I tend to agree with him as we have a better Kicker and he was undrafted. Just saying.

It's that itme of year where I start digging into college prospects getting ready for the draft. I think we all know the top issues LT, DT, DE. I'd love to add a good 3-tech to this defensive front as I think that alone would be a game changer on our defense. Unfortunately what I've seen so far from draft prospects the DT class is underwhelming and we have no chance at the one elite DT in this draft who will go top 5, Peter Woods. That moves me to find Edge help and I'm working from top rankings off TDN's site. TDN lists Ruben Bain Jr. as top 10. W/ the draft so close, I wanted to take a fresh look at the OL. Here is my board. 1. Albert - I have him ahead of Clady, but ask me again tomorrow, and it could change. They are that close. While I think Clady has the most potential to start right away at LT, I simply think Albert is going to be a stud somewhere on the OL. IMHO, he has a ceiling of being a Walter Jones at LT, and a floor of Ruben Brown at OG. If we had no need for OG, I might edge Clady, but we need to hit on our 1st pick, and Albert is as close to a sure thing IMHO as any. 2. Clady is next, by a hair. In Clady, you have a prototypical LT prospect who might be able to start at LT as a roo…

Seems like it would make sense to make a play for him if he would come cheap. He brings some of the same things you had with Thomas Jones. He's certainly had his problems, but who hasn't running behind the Lions' O-line?

Potentially the last pick for the Bears in this draft. Will be an upgrade over Gill but seems like a luxury pick when you had your choice of Edge or Center.

With the draft coming up, I thought this might be a good "catch-all" thread for people's favorite or least favorite prospects, or things they've noticed, low round prospects who are underrated, player comparisons, etc. All I know is what I read and what I see on YouTube and Draft Breakdown clips, but: - I don't see a ton of difference in tape and measurements between 1/2 round pick Nelson Agholar, and mid/late round WR Kenny Bell from Nebraska. - I mentioned this in the Safeties thread, but I like Kysheon Jarrett from VT as a late round safety/rover.
