I was reading some interesting info on Garza. Garza graded out as the second best lineman on the team this year. He is a team leader and has been relatively healthy. I was wanting to move on from him, but have changed my mind and want him for one more year. We still need to add a eventual replacement, maybe find someone in the later rounds.

Most our blue chips players are on defense. Mack, Quinn, Smith , Johnson, and in some respects, Jackson. Other good players on the roster . I think they move on from Goldman, Attaochu, Trevathan. Trevis Gibson, Blackson, Edwards, Tonga , Snowden, Sam Karama, Graham can contribute. Needs : 2 CBs, SS, MLB, SLB, 3 T. If Graham can develop, Shelly, and Vidor can be put at NB or bring in new. Every year as the draft gets closer the hype on quarterbacks intensifies and the bears are always needing a quarterback, I look back to a list that Bill Parcels made as it relates to drafting a quarterback. 1. 3 year starter 2. The question is valid. Opposite of Hicks is a void with minimal production and average promise. I think 3-4DE is more of a need than OLB. Nobody even really knows who the starter is there for 2019. I’d love to see Jerry Tillery slip because of off-field concerns. He could be great in the role.
