Just had his worst two games of his career back to back these last two weeks: He now has 10 INTs in 8 games (leads the league), and is on pace for 20+. The most he has ever thrown in a season was 12, and he had only thrown 11 in the last two years. He also has 2 fumbles lost for 12 turnovers (Tied for league lead with Lawrence). From reading some analyst's posts, it seems that teams have finally made an adjustment defensively to him and it is causing him major issues. The season is over, they would have to win 6 out of 7 to only have a slim chance at the playoffs based on wins by SF and MIN. So with that, this is what needs to happen the rest of the season or before next season. Fire Pace, fire Nagy and the entire coaching staff. You have to get the stench off this team and the only way is to clean house. Allow the new GM to come in and hire his guy. On offense, draft/sign a Center and WR, don't sign ARob, don't resign Monty. On defense, shoot Vildor to the moon, draft/sign a starting CB, Safety and ILB. Don't re-sign Nichols, only bring Hicks back on a one-year deal. As the season closes, the Bears will be looking at these names and others to add to the 2018 roster. I targeted what should be the the focal point of OLB, OT, and WR at the 7,8, or 9 slot. They may surprise us with a CB, S, G or another position, feel free to throw more names. Is there a player that we cannot pass if a trade down offer arises? The Bears need to hit a homerun once again with 3 to 4 additions. Do they trade down for quantity or take the quality.

I'm not sure where to fit this guy in on a draft board but he's starting to take the same path Haason Reddick did last year with a big rise up draft boards once the process started. Reddick was just 6'1" tall whereas Edmunds is listed at 6'5". That could put Edmunds in play for us at OLB. Like Leonard Floyd he was most often lined up as a LB off the line so in two games and some highlights I didn't see much film of him coming off the edge. When he does he shows some of the skills you want to see. I think he'll need to be stronger in his upper body to play there full time. Any news on the severity of Miller's shoulder injury? I'm a little worried since he missed his 2014 college season due to a similar injury. Very curious why he was back on the field if he actually had separated it. That play where he re-injured it looked very innocent. I hope the Bears and Miller didn't take a 1-2 week injury and make it a season ending injury. If they did, we better hope that Wims / White have some game in them because I haven't seen a ton of out this receiving corps yet.

With the of DCs there is some doubts of how it will affect our defense. Fangio was great but remember he was the DC under Fox and it didn't look as good because the horses were not in place. Pagano comes in with the team still ascending. As the offense gets better , it will benefit the D. More ball control and more points puts the D in a better position to be more aggressive which fits Pagano to a tee. He will blitz more than Fangio. Player positions: CBs- Fuller is in his prime and should remain there for a few more years. Prince should have one more solid year before he tapers off. Always interested to see where others would have gone with the Bears picks. Check out this tweet pointing out how bad Maher is (Pineiro is worse). We got rid of Parkey and downgraded to Pineiro. Between 30-50 yds, Pineiro is ranked 37th, why is he still on this team? Only 6 kickers are worse than him for XPs. He has missed two. So if you figure the league average from inside 50 for any kick is around 80%, and XPs are 95%, Pineiro has cost us no less than 7 pts and one loss (LAC). So we are in for a treat on Thursday, a bad kickers duel. The over-under on missed kicks is 2. I have the over.
