WR Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett, Anderson, Golden, Hester, Moss, Toliver, Weems TE Adams, Bennett, Eldridge, Maneri, Miller, Onobun, Rodriguez COMMENTS:We have a good core with Marshall, Jeffery and Bennett but with Hester going back to full time duties as PR/KR we need a 4th WR speed guy, now Golden runs a 4.3 but is raw, Anderson is a good ST guy that can catch ,Moss is 6'4 and also runs a 4.3 so we might have a diamond in the ruff****MAYBE****We keep Weems for ST and maybe we draft another guy like Stills. At TE we will cut Eldridge, Onobun and see no need for Adams as well unless they want to keep 4 TE'S OT Bushrod, Webb, Carimi, Brandon, Dennis …

Not much going on right now and since I like moving my mouth, I will talk frankly. With Emery(last year) and Trestman this year, we have is new blood and new hopes to hang our hat on. Although I thought Lovie was a good coach, he had way to many bad habits I didnt like. He talked down to people in interviews, had bad clock management, was to loyal to players that didnt pan out, and no offensive prespective. JA just sucked at drafting and that is what we hired him for. Emery's first draft has yet to look good, but I honestly think he was handcuffed with Lovie still in his year. He brought in BM and it came cheap, so if nobody in the draft works out, he was a w…

Does he belong in the pantheon? Does he belong in the HoF? Let's make a quick comparison... Player A: 12 seasons, 179 games, 19 sacks, 7 INTs, 0 TDs, 12 Fumble Recoveries (FRs), 1488 tackles*, 2 DPOY, 10 Probowls Player B: 12** seasons, 180 games, 41.5 sacks, 22 INTs, 2 TDs, 15 FRs, 1358 tackles***, 1 DPOY, 8 Probowls Player C: 9 seasons, 119 games, ??? sacks, 22 INTs, 27 FRs, 1020 tackles****, 2 DPOY*****, 8 Probowls Which player is better? A case could be made for any of the three. They're that close. Player A is Singletary. Player B is Urlacher. Player C is Butkus. It's sort of an apples to oranges discussion considering defensive sch…

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/chalk-tal...d0-394fa8a6cdcf Will Lance Briggs be moved to middle linebacker to control the defense? Seriously? SERIOUSLY!? These are the questions he gets? These are the questions he answers?! If the question was sent from someone on this board...

I personally hate this guy. I think he is the biggest douche to play the game. The dive at the knees is and always will be uncalled for. I played D line, I hate O lineman. I mean I hate them to this day. I hated the O lineman that would block after the whistle or come diving on the pile. I never saw a place in the game for that crap. What SUH did was complete bullshit and I think he should have been given at least a two game suspension. How many does this guy have to do something stupid??? What are your thoughts? What if he pulls this crap against the Bears and hurts someone? Ill freak

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?id=10341389 He comes with a bit of controversy over a recruiting issue a few years back but luckily there's no recruiting that goes on in the NFL. Coached the NCAA sack leader Marcus Smith this year, was apart of the 06 Miami team that holds the all time record for least rushing yards allowed per game (67), and he coached one of my favorite non Bears, Vince Wilfork. Was hurt his senior year at Miami but was named an honorary coach. He's just 35 years old and looks like he can still man the NT position(he's a big ol boy). Said to be one of the best young upstart coaches in the college ranks. An entertaining fellow as we…

No this is not a thread about SCS or AG, I am referring to players we dont want to see us draft. I dont wish to take the chance on Nix being a good player because of his injury history. It is hard to say how his pro career works out, tons of talent but we have drafted to many players in the past that never lost that injury tag and turned out crap. Also I obviously wouldnt like to see us draft any offensive players at least in the first two rounds. We have so many holes to fill, I actually wouldnt want to see any before the 5th round. Lets say Jake Mathews drops to our spot, a clear top 5 prospect everywhere. What do we do? If were going by BPA, I wou…

How far would you be willing to trade up for the right talent? Suppose the top of the draft goes QB crazy. Four of the top five teams need a QB. The Rams like their QB, their coach has a relationship with a stud player’s Dad (Bruce/Jake Matthews), and they need playmakers. Atlanta sits at pick 6, and one of their team needs is DL. 1. HOU – Bridgewater 2. STL – Matthews 3. JAX – Manziel 4. CLE – Bortles 5. OAK On the Value Chart, the #5 pick is 1,700 points and the #14 is 1,100 points. The Bears’ second rounder is worth 390. Given that Oakland has notoriously bad front office decisions, let’s say they’re willing to trade their first ro…

I think Emery is not going to be willing to spend the money on our backup. McCown probably gets a 2 year 4 to 5 mil and is to rich for Bears. Some one drafting a rookie QB will pay to get insurance. teams for McCown: TB, they could use a good backup with Glennon still developing on the job, plenty of cap space, Lovie throws a dig to the Bears organisation, closer to home Jacksonville, they will draft a QB and Josh would be a good fall back if the rookie needs time to grow, closer to home, plrnty of cap space FA options: I think Jordon Palmer comes back on a vet min deal AND we draft a developmental QB 4th round and below; …

Let's do a quick breakdown: Davis - Can't catch, can't run a route without being bumped off, is an average blocker Spaeth - Can't catch, is an above average blocker Rodriguez - Is supposed to have great catching ability, has shown average blocking Why is Rodriguez not in the game instead of Davis and Spaeth?! Everyone is talking about pass-catching TE this and that, like it needs to be drafted or addressed in the off-season, but somehow Rodriguez is forgotten. WTF was the draft pick for if it wasn't going to be a player who gets used? Oh, that's right, he's not even in the TE meetings; he's an H-Back. Whatever the hell that means in the Bears' offense. …

Reports are, apparently the 49'ers got into his head on Monday, and today he got a demotion. Supposedly he couldn't handle it and quit the team. Lol. And no I'm not making this up This marks the 2nd player to quit the team this year. Remember Devin Thomas abruptly left in Training camp because he was sick of football. Sean Jensen @seankjensen The 49ers knew how to "get in his head," a source told me about Chilo Rachal, who gave up 1 sack, 1 hurry & committed 2 holding penalties Expand Reply Retweet Favorite And Vaughn says vaughn mcclure @vxmcclure23 According to multiple sources, Chilo Rachal became upset after being demoted for Chris S…

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...t-chicago-bears I think it's a wise move for him to think of a hometown discount if he wants to resign with the Bears. If the OL is to be fixed, weapons to be added, defense to be rebuilt, it sure won't help the franchise if he tries to break the bank.

I was thinking today at how the wins this season have been sort of "hollow", either we've played bad teams or teams at the right time (Indy Week 1), etc. So I took a look back until 2006 to see how many winning teams we beat during the season, and I found an interesting trend, we beat either 2 or 3 teams every season, no more, no less, regardless of our record. Check this out: 2006 - 2 wins, SEA and NYJ as we go 13-3. Can you believe we won 11 games against teams at 8-8 or worse? 2007 - 2 wins, both vs a 13-3 Green Bay team (we accounted for 2 of their 3 losses as we floundered to a 7-9 record) 2008 - 3 wins, vs IND Week 1, PHI, and MIN. We went 9-7 and missed…
