  2. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2582867...dipping-problem I know we all recently learned about the outburst and him being named captain (after this most recent fiasco) but seeing more specifics...craaazzy. Only thing I wonder is why didn't new regime drop him immediately (as I presume they would have been made aware of how players felt, etc...or maybe general reaction from players was okay with Ratliff...they just wanted to see more control from coaches)?

I know it is early to talk draft, but building things is an interest of mine. Right now we are on the bye week and sitting at around a top 10 pick. Talkbears is a site I enjoy because it is small and the group that participates has passion and knowledge. I have spent nearly 15 years here it seems give or take. This offseason, we should have the resources to add some great players draft and free agent wise. Which way should a young GM go? This draft we can start the process 5-6 different position ways. 1-QB - Jay Cutler is showing he can be a good enough signal caller. How many years left can he be a guy to count on is my main concern. With a high pick, we can grab a …

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2580349...ened-from-there From the article it sounds like Josh McDaniels is a super douche. This article is from a former scouting guy with Denver. You don't normally get this much first hand details in the sporting world.

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago-bears/post...nd-charles-leno LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- There is uncertainty surrounding the Chicago Bears' left tackle position since Charles Leno played reasonably well filling in for veteran Jermon Bushrod (concussion/shoulder) the past three games. ...... “When you guys figure it out let me know,” offensive line coach Dave Magazu said. “I don’t know. I haven’t gotten that far. That will be something we discuss and move on from there. I don’t know. I’m not even lying. And I don’t have a problem lying to you guys.” ---------------------------------------------------------------- Bushrod has struggled with speed as usual…

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...1019-story.html I'm pretty sure Callahan played poorly on special teams earlier in the year giving up the early kickoff TD to Cardinals and was put back to the practice squad so there isn't much to like about this move. At one point on the sidelines Hurst was shown trying to loosen up a hamstring. I have no idea if he's injured (two weeks before next game?) or what he did to lose his job after helping force that second punt turnover by pushing Fuller into the ball.

Looks like we migh have ourselves a gem in the making. He doesn't wilt in run defense which is a huge attribute. Check out Thayer's analysis of he and fellow rookie Langford's impressive play. Thayers playbook And I just read that Detroit's RB Zach Zenner was lost to IR after breaking four ribs and a collapsed lung. Because of a collision with Amos. http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2015/..._partially.html

Cutler is currently 19th with a 2.30% with 4 INTs out of 174 pass attempts. That equates to 1 INT every 43.5 attempts or 1 INT for every 26.5 completions. Winston 4.61% Manning 4.22% Luck 4.22% Fitzpatrick 4.09% Stafford 3.80% (should have one more) Foles 3.55% Cousins 3.51% Tannehill 3.50% Bradford 3.33% Mariota 3.11% Taylor 2.92% Bortles 2.89% Flacco 2.83% Kaepernick 2.81% Bridgewater 2.74% Mallett 2.72% Palmer 2.59% Newton 2.55% Cutler 2.30% Rivers 1.98%

    1. Play calling on our side was poor. So many times in the red zone with nothing by FG's. Why run it in OT when you were moving the ball effectively through the air. Playaction... 2. Pass rush was non-existent. 3. Jay can't throw the pick in the red zone. Basically, this was the Lions' game. They were due for an uptick, and we were due for a downtick. It played out that way thanks to the refs as well. We still have a long way to go. But, we were competitive til the end. I just hate how conservative we went in OT. You just know the Lions were going to get something...you can't keep giving them a chance to win it. Coaching C QB B -/ C+ (t…

At this point Detroit has nothing to lose and with players getting benched in the middle of the last game I expect a hard fought game. Given all the injuries we're stacking up it's hard to know which players will take the field. I think Bushrod will start but I'm not sure that's a good thing against Ansah's speed. Alshon seems like he'll be back but I think he'll be in a limited role. Marcellus Bennett is questionable too. Detroit is ranked lower than us in run defense and their pass defense is more solid. I think we'll go heavy and try to run on Detroit, or keep extra blockers in as protection and let a 2-3 WRs run around until they get open. Leno has played…

Kevin White was at practice doing some side work. Fox said he's been doing indoor work and has progressed to grass. Really encouraging stuff. Probably still out 4-6 weeks I'd guess but that's a whole lot sooner than I thought (I thought he'd be gone all year). I know playoffs sound crazy, but tread water around .500 till White (and Alshon) comes back, and explode through the last 5-6 weeks and boom, playoffs.

I haven't seen anything on how bad the Shae injury was. I cant wait to see this offense with a healthy Alshon and Royal!!!

  19. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...1012-story.html So, where does the team stand? When you have players like Porter and Cutler (yes I said Cutler) who can somehow play "hurt" with a bad hammy...this continues with AJ? I know he needs to be near 100% to be really effective but c'mon! Theoretically since he's not doing much now he won't have much value come 'new contract' or when other teams come sniffing.

  20. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71/1024518/bears-3 Good article with a lot of quotes from Fangio. Very evident how much Fangio likes Shea. People need to get over his sucking from past schemes, he's now playing the position he was always a fit for. Lets also remember Fangio is not one just to say nice things about people. He's been very up front with the media on players and his rep is as a straight-shooter.
