  1. Started by jason,

I think that everyone agrees on AP at #1. After that, where does Forte rank?

  2. Started by Mongo3451,

This may need moved to another part of the board, but... Who do you guys think will be fantasy breakout players this year and why? Hopefully, we can share enough to help each other in our leagues outside of this forum. I hate to say it but I have the 1st pick in my draft and can't find a reason NOT to pick AP. I can't stand pinning my hopes on a damn Vike. Gotta do it, as my league gives a 3 pt bonus for 100 yards rushing and receiving.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/...all-dies-at-90/ Ed Sprinkle, “Meanest Man in Football,” dies at 90 Posted by Michael David Smith on August 5, 2014, 6:59 PM EDT edsprinkle Ed Sprinkle, a Chicago Bears defensive end in the 1940s and 1950s who was dubbed “The Meanest Man in Football,” has died at the age of 90. Sprinkle was handed the “Meanest Man” moniker by Collier’s magazine in a 1950 article, and reading about Sprinkle in 2014 feels like taking a time machine to a distant past in which even Ndamukong Suh would think the game was getting too violent. From a 1949 Chicago Tribune article: “After the game, [Chicago Cardinals] Coach Buddy …

I thought he'd be in the mix for running backs the Bears hope to bring in for competition (Translation: To replace the overpaid asswhipe who started the season for us this year) Although I'm surprised he signed this early and for this cheap. It gives me hope that a guy like Julius Jones will be "inexpensive." Here's the story from PFT.: "After generating only 1,016 yards in four full seasons with the Raiders, running back Justin Fargas busted out in 2007, nearly equaling that totaling 14 games, with seven starts. For that, Fargas has been rewarded with a new contract. According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, it's a three-year, $12 million deal with $…

Per ESPN Farve will throw about 2 hours before the game to determine if he will play or not.

If OTC is correct, we are projected to have 1.4 million in cap space next year. That's not good considering the free agents we will have. I looked at a few contacts that may be overvalued and the best scenario. Patriots RB Kevin Faulk was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession Friday night when was caught with four joints at a Lil' Wayne concert in the Cajundome. The drought of Patriot arrests has ended with Faulk and DB Willie Andrews getting caught this month. While going to the Cajundome is usually asking for trouble, Faulk might be the first person in history to get caught by a concert security check. If he wasn't in the league's confidential drug program, Faulk's playing status shouldn't be affected

I have many: Super Bowl win in 85 Hester punt return for TD @ Arizona Urlacher takes over the game @ Arizona Gould FG to beat Seattle Safety vs New Orleans Berrian TD catch vs New Orleans Hester opening kickoff TD in Super Bowl To pick one, I'd have to go with the Hester Super Bowl TD, just b/c at the time of the Super Bowl win in 85, I was 7 and I have a vague memory of it. What is your favorite Bears moment ever?

In 2001 I was at the game the Bears clinched the division by beating Jax. It was damn cold in early January in Soldier Field. Anyway, in the second half of the game Keith Traylor, a big defensive lineman, intercepted a Mark Brunnell pass and took it almost to the house. It may have been the best use of RUMBLIN' STUMBLIN' BUMBLIN' in ESPN's history. I recall it as knowing at that moment the game was over but I know Jax had some time after that and just didn't do anything. Jauron was the head coach and I thought we had something good building. The win that day combined with a Packers loss gave us the division, a bye and home field against what ended up being the Eagl…
