It only took Turner 14 games to call a good game. And how did it happen so far? Stretch plays and runs to the outside were added in, deep crosses, and then the play action pass was thrown in. Oh, and what play resulted in a ridiculously easy TD? That's right, the old play action pass, roll out pass to the WIDE OPEN TE. It is not rocket science folks; every team in the NFL has been using that play successfully for quite some time. Glad Turner finally caught on to the obvious. Now if Lovie could only create a defensive adjustment that didn't completely suck.

The left guard said he had the knee drained Friday after it swelled, and he's not sure how the injury occurred. "It's no big thing," he said. PFT reported earlier that Green Bay is likely to cut Chad Clifton and restructure Donald Driver's deal. I know Clifton is 35, but he'd be an instant upgrade at LT. Perhaps this way, they can get LT and WR done in FA and focus on the D in the draft. Just a thought.

This was on the Bears' website a few days ago. We can't know if he'll succeed but we can at least feel good knowing that Trubisky is not going the route of Cade and Rex. Neither of them wanted to put the time in nor had the dedication needed to become a good QB in the NFL. I suspect some of his conviction to get the playbook down this quickly comes from when he hit the bench in 2015. He'll wait his turn this year but not without a fight. That the Giants are in the Superbowl. We should have beat the piss out of them when we played. We started off on fire using the hurry up and then just stopped using it. Tommie Harris is done as far as I'm concerned. He's stealing money. He hasn't done anything since the beginning of the 2006 season. Devin Hester is going to get large sums of money for basically being what he is best at "A super freak returner". He doesn't know how to play WR yet he's getting paid like he should be a T.O.

Per Rotoworld, Kansas City has agreed to terms with Mike Brown. I'll be sorry to see him in a different uniform, but I hope he has success in K.C. With a very, very young group on defense, Kansas City could benefit a ton from a leader like Brown in the locker room.
