Though I'm reluctantly excepting the switch to a 3/4 since there really is nothing I can do about it except whine, Emery's guaranteed money to Allen,Houston and Young is going to handicap this team when it comes to producing more D-linemen for this scheme.This combined with whatever money is going to the young draft choices makes me wonder how much money do you tie up on a DL?

Just curious if anyone is watching the game right now? I've seen some stats flash over my Bears app on the phone. Doesn't appear to be a very exciting game. And for what its worth Cutler still hasn't had any turnovers...so far. But his yardage looks short so I'm guessing they're employing more a dink and dunk approach, which I like. Noticed that Miami scored in the first 7 minutes of Q1. I have it set to record tomorrow when it replays on NFL Network. Just thought I'd ask if anyone is watching now and overall thoughts of the performance.

I'm going to get ripped, and even I'm confused as to why I'm making this thread. 1. Derek Anderson hasn't looked too good, but they are paying him $10 million a year, and I don't think they'll be paying him that riding the pine. 2. Orton is a back-up QB in the NFL (just a starter here, and a few other places). The Bears just HAVE to get away from that quick 20 yard sideways pass to a wide receiver right after the snap. I don't know what this play is called but it needs to be SCRAPPED!!!!!! I hate it. How many times did Carolina almost pick that thing. The Bears get 5 yards TOPS on that thing....stupid.

Dear Babich, There is no such thing as a 15-step drop. No team, OC, or QB in the league practices this as a routine. The QB will never be back 15 yards from the LOS. Please have your DEs adjust their angles of attack accordingly. And while you're at it, have them twist or stunt every once in a while just to mix things up. we are approximately 9 million under the cap with next Monday as the deadline for applying future salaries to this yrs cap. What to do? - Sign Kyle to a long term deal? - Sign St Clair (FA after this yr)? - Sign Mike Brown (FA after this yr)? - Sign Brandon Lloyd (FA after this yr)? I was thinking on holding out on extending Kyle until the end of the yr (to see if he can maintain his level of performance) but it may be beneficial to extend him now and eat most of the cap this yr. What got into him? He was awful in Chicago and he goes on to Tennessee and is contributing like a real WR. He ended the season last year on a hot streak of several games and is having a decent year so far this year with Kerry "Im drunked" Collins. I always hate when a player leaves the Bears and goes elsewhere and contributes more than he did in Chicago.

Outscored 68-17 in the two games combined.
