So after the 2nd preseason game, it looks like the 53-man roster is going to come down to 5-6 battles at the bottom of the roster depending on how the team views certain positions and ST value. Crabtree's injury causes him to drop to 18th where we can nab him. Really though that does suck for him and i wonder if it will have any affect on where he gets drafted. I could see it not really doing anything

For the record, the offense was terrible. I realize that. But I am getting tired of this D getting a pass, or some saying they played well. Maybe if we compare this game to the cincy or Az games, then sure, they played well. But only if we set the bar that low. On the ground, this unit should be embarrassed. Yet another week where a RB puts up season best numbers. Hell, KC did a better job holding McCoy than we. I am sure Lovie will crow about holding McCoy under 100 yards since he only had 99. Oh yea. AM 1000 reporting that Goldman and Fabaluje didn't finish drills today at mini camp. I must admit that it is extremely humid and hot here today and that may have been a factor for these 2 big boys.

The defense has been faultering lately but over all in the season it is still in the upper end of the league. Considering the lack of offense in many games, they showed fatige at the end of the game. Begining the yr Pickens was injured and just starting getting snaps the last few games. Sweat and Darrell Taylor have been fighting injuries most of the yr. Terrell Smith missed most of the season and Jacob Martin started the season on IR. Play good enough to win but refs do everything in their power to help us with higher draft pick. Last drive was crazy, multiple ticky tack hiding calls, then a no-call against DET for DPI and we lose by 3.

Has it been confirmed that the Bears will be going to a 3-4?

Watching NFL Total Access this AM Terrell Davis states in a very positive manner that the Bears will lose this Sunday and our season will end. Guess we should just rest our starters and mail this one in.
