Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Angelo had a little Q&A on the Chicago Bears web site. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=6833 Most of it is nothing new, and not really worth discussion IMHO. One thing I did belief worth mentioning was his answer to the Atogwe question. LM: Now that safety O.J. Atogwe is a free agent, will the Bears try to sign him? JA: He’s a good football player. We’ve evaluated him and we like him. But at this point, we’re set. We drafted Major Wright and traded for Chris Harris. We also have Danieal Manning, Craig Steltz and Josh Bullocks, all of whom have started in this league. We have five pretty good safeties, four of whom have a…

So if Lebron James were to play for the Bulls, what more (besides the Cubs winning it all) could a Chicago sports fan ask for? Maybe James would be interested in catching a few from Cutler?

During the 2nd half, I was able to focus on a few specific things. As we looked bad, there's not many positives. Here's my thoughts: 1. Ja'Marcus Webb can't play. He plays high giving him awful balance. Physically, he reminds me of Pace last year--big & slow. The d-lineman would give him a push back and go right around. He's a big reason LeFevour looked terrible. How do we keep hearing the staff likes a guy who's this bad? He might develop but right now he's not an NFL player. 2. While Webb couldn't hold a single block, Jarron Gilbert couldn't shed a single blocker. When he wasn't attacking the wrong part of the field, he was being stood up and …

Okay, enough discussion. Time to make some firm decisions as the date of the draft is fast approaching. In my eyes, we need to keep everything simple, thus why there are only two options. Please, only FF Keeper league owners vote.

Hey folks! I set this league up awhile ago and were still a few players short. We currently have 7 and need either 1 or 3 or 5 more players to make it a viable league. The live draft is set for this Sunday (8/28) at 2pm CST. I can still change that if anyone has a problem with the time although finding another time could be a challenge. It's free (no money) with pretty std scoring. 1QB 3WR 2 RB 1 W/R 1 TE 1 K 1 DEF Email at lloydt56@yahoo.com or PM me and I'll send you an invite. Thanks

Some people are just capable of doing something amazing in their lives. Some run, sing, play the piano, etc. Idiot savant stuff. Tillman has been able to strip a ball since, I suspect, birth. I can picture it now... His big brother comes up, grabs a toy from Tillman. P-Nut calmly tracks his brother down from behind, and rips the ball clean.

I wished we had a different coach, but Lovie is right. Thru 1/4 of the season we are 3-1 and that's great. If we beat Carolina (I believe a 50/50 chance) we will have the best record in the NFC or tied and if KC looses at Colts and we win, we will have the best record in the nfl or tied. so lets forget about the last loss and look foward to Carolina. I believe our defense is playing pretty good, especially in the red zone. When we are on defense I like 3rd and short more than 3rd and long for some reason. I do not like Cutler as much as others but i root for him. When things go wrong he puts his head down like it's never his fault(I'm talking about his year and a quarter …

I know we are 4-1. But lets be honest and objective, it hasn't been pretty. So far this year: Jay Cutler- 68/102 912 yds 6TD 3Int Kyle Orton- 118/175 1419 yds 6 TD 3Int Johnny Knox- 12 Rec 258 yds 0 TD Brandon Lloyd- 29 Rec 589 yds 3 TD Given, I would rather have a weaker quarterback and be 4-1. Both chicago and denver are equally abismal rushing. We are 31st and they are 32nd. This is just math.

I am in the Air Force and stationed overseas. AFN, the broadcasting network for the Armed Forces, has a Viewer's Choice where we pick the game seen overseas. For the last 3 weeks, Bears' fans stationed overseas have been stuck watching the Saints against the Bucs and Browns. Right now the Saints are winning again and I can't take it!!! What I ask of my fellow Bears' fans is go to AFN Fan's Choice and vote for the Bears vs Bills. This would allow all the Bears' fans serving our country to watch them. I thank you for your time and your vote. Let's do this the Chicago way and vote early and vote often. --BearsFan74

Being stationed in Turkey means my chances are limited to see the Bears (no matter how crappy they are). The link I have provided below allow you to vote to see which game will be viewed by the people serving overseas on AFN (Armed Forces Network). The last three weeks, I have had the Saints shoved down my throat and I can't take it. Please vote everyday, send this to you friends, family, co-workers, and class mates. Even if you don't like them...we ALL LOVE THE BEARS...I just want the chance to see them. I miss yelling at the TV. Thank you for voting and for your support back home http://myafn.dodmedia.osd.mil/FansChoice.aspx

  16. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,3462831.story Brian Urlacher wouldn't bite when asked about a personal milestone he'll likely reach Thursday night. But as someone with a sense of history of the Bears, and specifically their middle linebackers, he knows what it will mean when he passes Hall of Famer Mike Singletary to become the franchise's all-time leading tackler. Urlacher has 1,484 and needs only four to overtake Singletary, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection. So what does it mean for the 32-year-old Urlacher, who's in his 11th season? "It probably means Lance (Briggs) is going to pass me in a couple years," he said. Briggs is fourth on…

I watched the game with some close friends. We were talking and my friend from college runs a sports bar in chicago that is funded by a bunch of chicago athletes. Well he tells us that on friday night he catered a party for Urlacher at his house. From what he says most of the team was there and they were partying pretty good unitl 3 or 4 in morning. I said bullshit but he had some pretty good details to share. I had seen a interview with Urlacher in his basement and my friend described his basement to the tee. So i wonder if the Bears really were not taking Detroit to serious? Prolly the reason Lovie freaked out at halftime. I hope the Bears are taking NE as serious …
