Blast the list all you want, but here's a list of reasons why the Urlacher move was bad: 1) It hurts the clubhouse. Urlacher was an undeniable leader to the team. 2) It hurts with potential free agents. Urlacher is a respected figure in the NFL and his opinion has weight with other players. 3) His leadership will be gone on the field. Now the Bears will have to transition to another play-caller who doesn't understand the calls or personnel as well. 4) The Bears are hindered in the draft. Where before they could flexibly target a LB, now they pretty much have to get one in the first two rounds. 5) A majority of the fanbase is not happy. Like it or not, …

Looks like this guy might be doing some volunteer work at PFF lol Just gotta hope I can come up with 25 dollars to buy an NFL rewind subscription. This site really needs a catch all thread, I feel dirty posting this in a new thread but I thought it was fantastic news and something Jason would love to hear. Gonna piss a lot of people off by there being no real news here lol

Bears sign blocking TE Steve Maneri to a 2 year deal. Fun fact: he's Blake Costanzo's cousin.

1 We fire Lovie and the staff 2. We signed CB LeQuan Lewis and let DJ Moore go Lewis is bigger and faster and with special teams ability as a return man. 3. We sign Martellus Bennett TE (can catch & block)and cut Davis and Spaeth who were not good at either 4. We sign Jermon Bushrod LT to replace Webb and move Webb to RT 5. We re-sign Melton & Collins at DT and cut Toeaina 6 We re-sign Bowman in case Hayden leaves(nothing major here)still looking for help at this position 7. One writer on Rotoworld has us ranked as the 7th best roster in a power ranking going by the personal on the teams at this moment in time. Evan Silva-Pre-Draft NFL Lineup Rankings Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Im just a plumber(a moron) so I am not sure how to link the article from the site. Maybe Terrtool or Alaskan Frizzy can help.

Jeff Dickerson ‏@ESPNChiBears 10m Filed to ESPNChicago: #Bears agree to terms on one-year deal with DE Turk McBride, per a league source. Had a decent year in Detroit 2 years ago, did nothing in Nola.

Per 670, Urlacher won't take one year deal at 2 million and the Bears are moving forward.

Signed a LT------check Signed a TE------check Moved on from Urlacher----check Resigned Collins-----------a roster rotation guy Signed Mcbride-------------someone to take Idonije spot at DT/DE rotation player Another TE- have made a offer to Mareni ----blocking TE Another CB- have made a offer to Captain M ---I think he will be our NB We still have maybe a WR to add, and a OG I would suspect, a LB or two, plus resign Louis.

Would Darius Heyward-Bey fit the bill as a speed addition to this team. Whats the deal with him? This was a first round WR that has yet to breakout. Is he a bad route runner or what?

RT @RapSheet: CB Captain Munnerlyn getting interest from #Browns, #Dolphins, #Bears, #Chargers. Lot of good CB depth out there... I've seen him play quite a bit. He'd be a decent pick-up.

I think things will be quiet now for awhile and we are working on trying to resign our players in FAgency. I think we resign Idonije, Loius, McCown, and Scott. I think we still get a CB in FAgency because there is a surplus and as time goes on the players get nervous and grab on to a job. I would like to see them grab a Sheldon Brown/CB played for the Browns. I think we still get one of our LBs in FA due to having to count on two rookies to start might be a stretch. I would like to seem them grab Daryl Smith/OLB from Jacksonville, just due to the tie to our DC and played at a high level last year. There is a chance Urlacher comes back, but the longer it goes I think the …

Here is what Forte said: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id...heed-matt-forte I know they want to make football safer, but this seems almost counter productive as runners would not be able to protect themselves from a hit. Almost the first thing you learn to do is lower your shoulders when you are about to get hit. Now they want you to stay upright as the defender plows into your ribs at full speed? How about just improve the helmet and move to some sort of kevlar composite that absorbs some of the impact.
