99% of the items on ProFootballTalk.com are a complete waste of bandwidth, this story is probably no different. But it's Bears-related and it's July 1st so we can either keep arguing about stupid stuff or discuss this list. Players 1-75 have yet to be released but I find the fact that Forte barely made it in at 100 curious. I guess he didn't have a great season last year but one would think they'd give him a little more love than #100 out of 100. This story is here. Other Bears making it are Melton and Briggs at 95 and 96, respectively. I'm interested to see if Cutler even makes it. Who else? Peppers, Peanut, Marshall, Gould, Webb?

That was quick. This behavior is getting out of hand. How many guys are doing crap like this all the time and getting away with it? Also, what type of idiot chick (19 yr old) is hanging out with dudes like Hunt (23 yrs old) at 3am?

I had one Yahoo draft this year and when I went to the drafting room, the draft loaded and all I had was a blank screen. You could hear the draft going on, noise but nothing popped up on my screen. Does anybody know how I can fix this, or where on Yahoo I can get information to do it? I run the test draft app and dont get crap. I had one draft auto drafted and would like to get it fixed before our draft.

I think about this every year. Go all out on one side of the ball, and drastically improve the unit. This year, do it on defense and you have a chance of creating the best D in the NFL. But does it help the team enough? Do it on offense, and you could potentially bring up the level enough to complement the impressive D. ALL OFFENSE 1. DeShone Kizer, QB, ND - Presumed franchise QB secured. He starts day 1. 2. Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin - Bookend franchise LT secured. MadLith takes a shot in celebration. 3. Jake Butt, TE, Michigan - I don't see all the TEs (Howard, Njoku, Engram, Leggett, Hodges) going in the 1st three rounds. 4. Isaiah Ford, WR…

Looking at our last three coaches what has been our real problem over these years. Given we have had 6 winning seasons, 2 seasons of being a 500 team and 8 loosing seasons in the last 16 years. So I ask you this who was the better coach? Also what plays the most important part of a winning season...a great defense or a great offence? In bold are our winning seasons with how many points we scored (PF) and what we gave up (PA) We in those 6 years averaged on offense 21.5 points per game while the defense gave up an average of 15.6 PF PA 2014 NFL Chicago Bears 5-11 319 442 -123 Trestman 2013 NF…

In all his years in Chicago Cutler has had to practice against the Lovie 2 and then for two years again Mel Tucker's toothless version of the Lovie 2. Given his history I won't make a prediction about how much better Cutler will be at protecting the football but I will say that practicing against Fangio's D this camp is giving him the most variety in defensive looks/schemes that he's ever seen in camp. I can't see this hurting Cutler at all, nor the rest of the offense. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...57-21e1bad607a0 "They got after us today," said quarterback Jay Cutler. "They beat us in about every period we had. [Fangio] has done a good job of m…

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...e022908.article Not a big deal, as far as I'm concerned. I'd just use a pick in the 6th/7th to get the best remaining blocking TE available. They don't tend to go early.

If we dont sign anyone else but some backup roster spots, what is your draft (the first five spots) Mine is; We still need a LT, DE, CB,WR (so to make the best impact as we are constructed right now)(Walters mock draft for the topic) #1 Adams/LT/OSU He is the highest rated player on the board in our area of needs. #2 McClellin/DE/BS He was a DE in college, but most see him as an OLB, I think he stays at DE and can rush the QB #3 Joe Adams/WR/ARK He is a speed guy at 5'11" 190, can be a deep threat(Marshall as PWR)(Knox will be done and takes his spot on roster) #4 Judie/CB/ Tex AM The best of the corners left at this po…

Last year the Bears announced they were cutting ties with Darwin Walker, Fred Miller, and Mushin Muhammed on the same day. I'm pretty sure it was around then they announced they'd extended Alex Brown and were parting with Ruben Brown. I mainly remember this because I was home celebrating Barack Obama day, which allowed me to listen to the SCORE for 12 hours straight. With Barack Obama day coming up this Monday, I was wondering if we'll see a similar "big day" of announcements coming soon, and if so, who's on the chopping block? It seems that Vasher is safe. But what about Tait? Booker? Wale??? Will we officially cut ties with Lloyd, Mike Brown, Rex .…

Every year when the Bears line up to play the "cheese heads", the little kid in me likes to start the rivalry off right by asking all to give us your best packer fan insults or jokes and your fondest memory of a Bear- packer game. I'll start with a couple of games I remember; the first one is of course the game after the Payton public memorial at Soldier's Field I can still feel goose bumps listening to Dan Hampton address the team sitting on the stage with tears in his eyes and then during the game Brian Robinson blocking a kick to preserve the victory. Actually choking up a little while typing this.lol The second one is from the 70's during the Neil Armstrong …

  16. Mike Brown named AFC defensive player of the week Posted by Michael David Smith on November 18, 2009 10:41 AM ET Kansas City Chiefs safety Mike Brown picked off two passes in Sunday's win over the Oakland Raiders, and today he learned that he's been named the AFC defensive player of the week. It's the second player of the week award of Brown's career; he won an NFC defensive player of the week award in 2001, when he played for the Bears. Brown is the first Chiefs safety to win the award since Jerome Woods in 1997. Both of Brown's interceptions came off Raiders backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, who came in after JaMarcus Russell was benched. The first int…

#Bears Kyle Long just told reporters he's been told he'll play tackle next year. Doesn't know which side yet. #BearsTalk Do you buy it? Can he improve having a off season to prepare? Looking like we will be upgrading the RG this offseason. Draft or FA, they need more strength to help both Grasu inside and Long outside.

It appears that the qb position may just keep going back and fourth as rex looks to have taken the lead today. Rex really didn't have any mistakes whereas Kyle threw a pic to bowman (who made an incredible play on the ball!!!) and Steltz. I'd have to say that rex has a little bit of an edge after today and the defense is looking really really good. Also even though kyle did have some pics, it did appear that he was role playing rex a bit. Meaning it appeared that kyle was taking some good shots down the field. Not just the dump offs and the 3-5 yarders, but some legit 15-25 yarders and those throws looked really good. Which is why I'm not putting rex up a whole lot.…
