Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. 1. Started by jason,

So, Hester and Bennett are out with concussions. Alshon has a knee problem, which followed a hand problem. That leaves the Bears with Marshall, Dane, Weems...which really means, Marshall. So, what are his thoughts? Brandon Marshall's thoughts I would not mind seeing Mike Sims-Walker on this team one bit. He comes in, proves himself, and next year he probably beats out one of the other WRs for a #3 or #4 role. Win-win

Cutler and the O did their job. The D failed us for 2 very long drives. In fact, Pepper may have caused the loss with his bonehead offsides when we had SEA at their own 10. However, Smith and Tice botching the 4th and short...was the 3 points we needed to win. Between the D and coaches...this loss is on them.

Jeffery and Hester both were at practice yesterday and have a chance to play the week against the Vikings. We really need both of them to take pressure of of Marshall and to give ay someone else to throw to since bennett is going to be out.

Cutler flips a football at a defender and is fined $10000. No injury whatsoever there. Jared Allen intentionally leaves his feet on an illegal blindside block and drives into the head of his opponent with his helmet, giving him a concussion and tearing his knee apart in the process. Punishment for this is only twice as much as flipping a football at someone: $21000. Nonetheless I'm off to get my flight to Chicago and will be at Sunday's game against Seattle. Thankfully the forecast says this Arizonan will be in 60 degree weather.

  8. Started by Connorbear,

He could have pulled a Rachel and bailed on the team but he took his demotion like a man. Today he stepped into a position he had never played and held his own. Then after the game he said he was going to work hard to get his old job back. I will be rooting for him. Peace

Lance placed on IR. Now what?

  10. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000010...s-loss-to-bears I hope he does that was a dirty and unnecessary hit. Blind side hit leading with his helmet. 1 more reason to hate Jared Allen.

To the "TalkBears" family, all my best during this Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Holidays. Hopefully this finds you all where you want to be in life and spending it with those who mean the most to you. Like in real families there are squabbles and disagreements. So is true here at the Talk Bears forum. I find myself, as I age, that my patience grows thin and I tend to spout off as if suddenly striken by Tourettes. Whatever the case may be it is clear we all love (that too strong a word?) our team. I am thankful that they are currently 7-3. I am hopeful they continue to win more than lose. After this year will my, Jason's or Brian's opinions matter? …

  17. Now i want to say this is it me saying this or can our running game improve. I have looked at game and have seen that our line has made a few holes that our main workhouse does not see. Forte is not hitting the right OPEN hole at times and does not even try to get outside on plays. Now granted he is getting stuffed in the backfield alot but some plays he just goes this way or that and miss open lanes that can gain 5-10 yards or runs right into the back of our blockers without making cuts at all.

With the news, Chicago calls him "soft" for even having to take the tests. Pissed off, they head toward his home with torches and pitchforks screaming "KY-LE OR-TON" But really, per La Canfora, Cutler has passed the protocols and will play tomorrow.
