THE REF BUMPED MARSH!!!

I was talking to a friend today who thinks the Bears barely break the top 5, or fall just outside, in power rankings. He pointed to the schedule said every team the Bears have played, other than the Packers, is bad, and the Bears lost that game. Are they ahead of the following teams? Texans Niners Giants Patriots Falcons

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...acing-kickoffs/ I didn't like it when I first read it...but it's growing on me. hester's a better punt return guy anyway! (If we keep him!)

Maybe I'm nuts, but am I the only one who doesn't think Tice hasn't done a bad job as OC this year? A lot can be said for his OL, but even with that, he's been given dick to work with. We are getting everything we want from the OC. Cutler can audible and he's rolling out now. I would've liked to see more carries for Forte this year, but all around, it's his first year as an OC with 1 legitimate playmaker beside the QB. *prepares for war*

I'm so happy as a Bears fan! We are acting like a real franchise! 1. Emery did his due diligence 2. We hired outside the box 3. We struck fast on outstanding OC, and ST hires 4. We are OK with the DC This is truly the most exciting off-season in a long time. I welcome all this change with open arms and a full glass of Lagavulin! Cheers! Bear down!

Wow...didn't see that one coming.

http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-bears-hu...mock-draft-1-0/ Passed Rd1... Love the positions, dislike players

*based off of Chicago signing nobody in FA* 1. Lane Johnson, T, Oklahoma --I'm not a huge fan, but Johnson will be the best OT prospect left. He probably needs 2-3 years development to be an NFL LT. 2. Kyle Long, G, Oregon --Great bloodlines and a nasty player. One day, he might be an OT. Perfect. 4. Kevin Reddick, MLB, North Carolina --Reddick had a good career. His last year started slow but ended fast. He ended the year with 74 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 5 PBU, and 1 INT. 5. Jasper Collins, WR, Mount Union --Small, lighting quick WR out of a school that shockingly produces good WR's. 6. Brian Schwenke, C, California --Center depth. Garza's contract is…

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...ke-cutler-great Boom. Cutler for MVP.

I have read in several spots where Arz. likes Glennon/QB but at 7 is too high to take him. They will select Fisher/OT at that spot, but will have to trade up to get Glennon. so they have #38,4th round 67 and they have two 6th round picks. So i just used Walters mock as an example of who could be there. the trade would be our 20 for 38,67 and a 6th rounder. I am not sure how this rates on the traded picks scale, but maybe swapping our 4th round picks would be more equal. 38-Larry Warford/OG (also the top 2 TEs) 50(our pick) they had us taking Austin/WR but I would select Reddick/LB 67-Marcs Wheaton/WR-speed guy 114(our pick) Kelce/TE

Biggs just tweeted that its's at about $6.8m

Take it for what it's worth, but Glazer's pretty plugged in: 19 mins DaBearsBlog ‏@dabearsblog Jay Glazer just reported on Mike Francesa's show that he believes Brian Urlacher will leave Chicago this offseason.

RT @seankjensen: #Bears are expected to release DT Matt Toeaina, per a league source

We have a number of roster spots to fill: DT- We have Melton, Paea, Collins. We need at least one to fill a rotational role. Options (Idonije) can play both DE and DT, and as FAgency drags on, can be brought back cheap. (Sedrich Ellis) was a bust for NO, but is young enough to become a descent player. (Derek Landri) has some pass rushing skills. …

Resigned to 2yr deal.

Signed Matt Slauson G Bushrod T Scott T That puts us at 5 guard/Centers and 6 tackles It appears to me that Brown , Carimi, Williams , webb are gonna have to duke it out in camp, with the new rules in camp it prove difficult to do so.

...couldn't resist. April fools...

According to Zach zaidman and others we have signed DE Kyle Moore. Anyone have any info on him

Things are a bit slow as we wait on the draft. I found this article on Favre's last hit and thought some others might like to read it. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-f...ded-his-career-

I seen an article that we brought him in town at the last minute. He is Vinston Painter a OT out of VT. We like him at OG. He is very athletic, and with the new scheme on the OL the athletic guard fits it better. James Brown, Garza, not so much Slauson and Carmi. He is said to be around a 4th rounder and not many teams worked him out. He needs to learn more, good upside, and not well known.
