You just summed up your sorry career. I am hoping you get cut tomorrow. You will never play in the NFL again. The whole stadium had no faith in you, and you showed why. How dare you go on National TV and talk about why u didnt win the starting job, you have absolutely no business being on a football field. Everytime you dropped back to pass i held my breath and you delivered. You seriously make me wanna vomit in my mouth. You cost everyone on the team a superbowl ring and now you brought your losing mentality to the table two years later. Goodbye and good riddens

As per the SCORE. I hope like hell this is just a precautionary measure and not something that's going to linger all season long. Remember how Urlacher missed so many practices with "general soreness" last training camp? Tillman is practicing however Hester is not. (They didn't say why Hester's not practicing.)

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2008/...umors_pers.html The Lions have finally confirmed an earlier report here that free agent quarterback Daunte Culpeper is visiting the team at its Allen Park practice facility. Whether Culpepper eventually will sign a contract with the Lions is unknown. It's not usual for free agents to visit teams Tuesday, the day that clubs continue to maintain their "short list'' in case of injury to other players. Last week, the Lions brought in free-agent quarterback Tim Rattay for a workout. What makes the Culpepper situation more interesting is that Culpepper was scheduled to visit the Kansas City Chiefs today, presumably …

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,5604133.story The Bears weren't able to add help at defensive tackle during the draft, so they found some on the street. An NFL source told the Tribune the team agreed to terms Thursday night with John McCargo, a former first-round draft pick of the Bills, and DeMario Pressley, former teammates at North Carolina State. Both players will receive one-year contracts. McCargo and Pressley are in position to battle for a roster spot because the Bears have only three experienced tackles: Henry Melton, Matt Toeaina and Stephen Paea, last year's second-round draft pick. The Buccaneers released McCargo this month. The…

Henry Melton @HenMel Good to be a Bear for another year hopefully we can get a long-term deal done soon! #BearDown #FranchiseTag Hurts a lil but glad to have him around for at least another year. If the reports that Collins will be tendered are true that's 9.7M of the ~12 spent already(on 2 DTs), throw in the the 3-5M for the rookie pool and we're probably in the negative...with quite a few holes to fill. Get to restructurin Phil!

Wow, what a game. The script writers were on point with this one. Make it look desperate, then hit the climax and then the cliffhanger at the end. So much to unpack (no pun intended).

http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...,3500978.column Past time for some tough Lovie Rick Morrissey | In the wake of the news August 25, 2008 Is this how Lovie Smith wants to go out? As friend to the players? As the Great Enabler? Does he want his professional tombstone to read: He got off the bus refusing to throw anybody under the bus? If Smith doesn't do something about it soon, a combination of bad football and a culture of unaccountability is going to be his undoing as the Bears' coach. Forget the bad apples he used to support at every turn and at every pretrial hearing. This isn't about that. This is about the most unpardonable …

Its nice that we are winning, here are my thoughts. 1. Defense has shown up big time tonight. Good coaching and good blitz calls so far. Take away Peterson and make that moron quarterback try to beat us. Good to see Vasher. When our d-coordinator sets them up with good pressure our big cornerbacks are awesome. They come downhill and make big hits and are great at bad balls. Problem comes when the cood leaves them on an island cause they are not the small, fast types. Also stupid penalties on Tillman and Briggs give up the 6 points. 2. Its a broken record but the line still is bad. Penalties again. I've watched Kruetz especially and my complaints re…

It is a chilly afternoon and I am mocking the afternoon away. Hoping there will be some trade interest. Going with Cleveland as that partner, we get #12, 3-#77, and a future 3rd and they get Cooper. I still think we are best off getting a OLB or NT/5T that will help elevate the players around them. 1 -Danny Shelton NT - Getting an anchor on the D line and picks makes sense. Shelton will not only draw double teams, he will clog the middle of the line forcing runs outside and he will push the QB out of the pocket. 2-Sammy Coates WR - Coates may currently be a one trick deep threat, but he is also a physical blocker. He has speed to take the top off and incredible st…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...-for-the-bears/ Changes coming for the Bears Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on October 13, 2011, 8:44 AM EDT ReutersIt’s desperation time in Chicago. The Bears were just embarrassed on national television. A loss this week at home to the Vikings would send the season from troubling to nearly hopeless. Expect changes to be made. “We’re not pleased with some of the performances we’ve gotten,” coach Lovie Smith. “I, of course, never talk about changes we’re going to make, especially before we hit the practice field and we talk to the guys.” CSNChicago.com’s John Mullin writes that the Bears will shake up thei…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Bears’ hope for Hester: Catch more passes, return fewer kickoffs Posted by Michael David Smith on April 10, 2012, 7:39 AM EDT Devin Hester may be the best return man in NFL history, but that doesn’t mean that’s his primary role in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune connects the dots with the addition of Eric Weems and Devin Thomas, two players with experience as kickoff returners, and notes that last year Johnny Knox averaged more yards per kickoff return than Hester, and says it all adds up to the Bears making Hester an integral part of the offense at wide receiver and cutting down on his kickoff returns. …

Curious.. Let's assume everybody was available for the Bears to draft. How would your draft board look like today? *Mine* 1- Luke Joekel, OT Why?: Best pipedream scenario. Best OL in this class. Would be best available player IMO. 2- Eric Fisher, OT Why?: Second best pipedream scenario. With Joekel gone, this guy would be the next best available. 3- Chance Warmack, OG Why? Best guard in the draft. Some say he's the best overall player in the draft. Would be an absolute steal if he fell to 20. 4- Barkevious Mingo, DE/LB (Would play him at LB) Why?: I really like Mingo as a 3-4 OLB, but if he somehow is still there at 20, which…

With the of DCs there is some doubts of how it will affect our defense. Fangio was great but remember he was the DC under Fox and it didn't look as good because the horses were not in place. Pagano comes in with the team still ascending. As the offense gets better , it will benefit the D. More ball control and more points puts the D in a better position to be more aggressive which fits Pagano to a tee. He will blitz more than Fangio. Player positions: CBs- Fuller is in his prime and should remain there for a few more years. Prince should have one more solid year before he tapers off. Callahan may be back if not , we will add a new face or go with Tolliver mor…

The Rodgers drama, now Davante Adams? This may all end up being nothing, but both of them could be gone after this year. I never saw this coming. I didn't realize he was a year older than ARob. I also didn't realize Adams has only had 2x 1000 yd seasons. He is a TD machine, but has only hit 100 receptions and 100 yards twice. The fact that they offered Rodgers a 2-yr extension to make him the league's highest paid player also speaks volumes about how they really feel about Jordan Love.
