Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. for next yr from the Suntimes. Not sure if I agree with everything they are proposing but they do cover most. Interesting note is that Fred Miller has played all year with a partial torn MCL. Why the hell was this never mentioned????? Not saying that changes my opinion on what should happen with him going forward (he needs to go), but at least we know now there were other concerns. Also, Moose 3.3 million cap value next yr - no thanks. Get him out of here. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-bear28.article Peace

It seems that everyone knows how to exploit it. Everyone understands the gaps and holes. And, most importantly, when the Bears go to it exclusively, they get raped. Is it because it's a passive approach? OR Is it because the Bears don't have the personnel to run it any more? Either way, the Bears almost let a win go yet again. This "playing not to lose" crap has killed the Bears this year, and it appears that Lovie and crew haven't learned their lessons. Thank goodness the offense and ST put up so many points today, because those last ten points to the Vikings were way too easy.

from some who was there: 1 - Unbelievably cold and windy. I'm not sure how it looked on TV but the wind was really swirling. The weather was our best friend today as Favre looked like he wasn't interested in playing in this weather. 2 - Orton had a nice game. Would have looked better if Moose hadn't dropped a TD. 3 - Play of the game was the screen to Wolfe which led to the TD at the end of the half. This completely changed the momentum. 4 - Nice to see the o-line actually make some holes for the running game. Let's do that again next week. 5 - Dave Toub is my favorite coach on this team. He knows how to adjust and take advantage of his talent. Two …

Well there are areas of the game to pick at but several positives. 1. NFC North Champs 2. Clinched a Playoff spot 3. Hester with the Record in record time 4. Big win 40-14 a 26 point win should have been 33 point win but I'll take it. 5. We walk away healthy. 6. We may have put Favre away for good.

  9. http://www.chicitysports.com/2010/08/04/to...010-nfl-season/ DA is #1, also saw that ESPN and a couple other sources had him listed as #1 on their lists as well. Have we found our guy Bear fans? Do you agree with the list? Who should or shouldn't be on the list?

Cutler has to play better. He looked lost today. He seemed to have the Grossman on NYE mentality today--the "f*** it, this game is meaningless" mentality. Hopefully he brings it in 2 weeks. Not to make excuses, but maybe Bennett is that valuable. Knox, Hester, and Olsen never make a catch that they shouldn't. Forte played well again. He's definitely a secret weapon going into the playoffs. Why did Martz shy away from Forte running it (again)? Stupid coaching there. The OL was beat on numerous times today. It's bad when Garza is turning his head on blitzes and Manumaleuna can't keep Woodson in front of him. Peppers has gone 2 straight games now where he…

Tribune is reporting that he will be interviewing with Michigan State for the same position on there staff. He joined the Bears when Lovie was hired so he's been here a while. He previously spent 10 years at OSU as a coach (and also played there). I figure he has a good relationship with the Bears but I wonder if he feels the heat on the offensive side and would rather leave now when he knows he has an opening as opposed to take a chance for a year without one. I think if I were him I'd think about it, especially since the lower level assistants don't get paid enough to go without work.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...-to-linebacker/ Jared Allen “having fun” with move to linebacker Posted by Josh Alper on June 3, 2015, 4:24 PM EDT Jared Allen AP When Jared Allen was with the Vikings, he balked at the idea of moving from defensive end to outside linebacker. On Wednesday, Allen chalked that up to “ignorance” while discussing the very same transition that he’s making with the Bears this offseason. Allen said that he thinks he’ll be doing the same kinds of things at his new spot, but that playing linebacker will be “easier on my body.” “My body feels fresher because I’m not banging every single day and putting my hands …

Robbie Gould has been "money" for the Bears most of his career. Now Gould is kicking in some money to assist a local youth football team make a trip for a game in Miami. The American Youth Football Organization national champion Naperville Patriots, a group of 12-, 13- and 14-year-olds, are scheduled to play a team from Texas led by Deion Sanders on the Saturday before the Super Bowl. When anticipated funding from the NFL for hotel rooms in Miami fell through at the last minute, Gould immediately kicked in $20,000 to help defray the unexpected costs for the 27 players and their families. "Robbie said, 'Not a problem, I will take care of it.' I couldn't thank him…
