Check out this tweet pointing out how bad Maher is (Pineiro is worse). We got rid of Parkey and downgraded to Pineiro. Between 30-50 yds, Pineiro is ranked 37th, why is he still on this team? Only 6 kickers are worse than him for XPs. He has missed two. So if you figure the league average from inside 50 for any kick is around 80%, and XPs are 95%, Pineiro has cost us no less than 7 pts and one loss (LAC). So we are in for a treat on Thursday, a bad kickers duel. The over-under on missed kicks is 2. I have the over.

I see all the happy feet grave dancing on Lovie (and last year on JA) and I wonder how many of you really understand the big picture here. Jay Glazer is reporting that one of the Bears OC candidates, Chan Gailey (former Cowboys and Georgia Tech head coach) will be taking the Buffalo Bills head coaching job. Personally I'm surprised. I thought Frazier was lined up for the job but I guess the Bills didn't want to wait until the Vikings were out of the playoffs to hire there guy. Sucks for Frazier. Frazier is technically a candidate for the Bears DC job but there is no reason that will ever happen.

Bears 10-4, still have outside shot at a first-round bye, though very unlikely. The game is still important to at least lock in the #3 seed. Interesting to see the line only at -4. Based on some bookie sites, a lot of money going SF's way. Hopefully not a trap game, we need to finish strong and Trubisky needs to string together some solid games. Bears 27-13.

This was commented on earlier during another thread. The thought of Cutler moving out of the pocket might actually make better sense. He seemed to do better while in Denver doing this. I don't think Cutler is made to be a pocket passer. Although Jason always thought Cutler HAD to run I always was of the opinion he chose to be more mobile.
