I love what every team in our division did this year in the draft. If Harvin can keep his head on right plus Loadholt, the Vikings had a good draft. The Lions went out at got Stafford + the best TE in the draft + who I thought was the best FS. The Bears got Cutler + Moore in the 4th. The Packers got Raji and Matthews, both who can contribute right away in their new 3-4. IMO, our division as a whole had the best draft. Thoughts?

One of the greatest DCs of all time died of cancer. Jim Johnson in Philadelphia was an outstanding DC who will be missed by all who loved watching his agressive defensive style. Graham may fill the Nickle role which, IMHO, he did pretty good in last week. Speaking of Moore. Read he was fined for the dust up with Stafford. Hope there is more to come, all things being equal. And looks like OT Jordan Black could be signed next week. Not bad.

Rondale Moore and Mecole Hardman visited the Bears today. I really would love a short term deal for Moore. 24 with tons of speed - coming off injury and I think in right role could thrive as a slot / take the top off guy with some gadget and special teams thrown together. Both players are speed guys. Moore was like 4.33 coming out - injuries have been a big issue with him and he missed all of last year.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this board and with the season kicking off the board is back with interesting chatter. I think this board has some of the greatest Bear talk minds and it is always a pleasure to visit. I will have to miss the Bears vs Patriot game since I will be traveling back from Sioux Falls SD that evening. I hope to find a radio station broadcasting for that drive back to Illinois, but if not hopefully you guys will be posting often.

Was thinking about this earlier in the week and it was just brought up on Waddle and Silvy. Who would you rather win tomorrows game? You'd think the obvious answer is that you want the Packers to win because it'd mean a Bears W means they're in first place. But, a Lions victory all but knocks the Packers, who will be getting Rodgers back in a week(maybe), out of the playoffs. Really not sure which way I'd wanna go here.

Too little too late? After losing 4 straight games after starting 3-1 with an anemic offense, you finally decide maybe now it's time to admit your mistake and go back to what worked last year? I am glad they are doing it, don't get me wrong, but it seemed like everyone was calling for this back in Week 1. Daniels is clearly struggling, and with him at Center, he can't help Coward at RG, making a huge void in the line. So I like the move and think it is long overdue.

With the win over the Saints it all boils down to two. The last two games we win then we are in if we get two losses by the Vikings. We play the Packers at home and the Texans on the road. The Vikings play the Cardinals on the road, and the Falcons & Giants at home. Also we can get in as a wild card if we win our last two games and get the Cowboys and Falcons to lose two games and the Eagles and Redskins to lose one of their remain games. This is a guy that a lot of people had pegged at points in his career as a guy with star potential. He never truly emerged into that and he had some off the field problems this past season, but as a whole he's the opposite of any WR's we have. The guy is a beast of a target with good hands and he seems to be a very good red zone target. He clearly is a step down from Holt, but again would be a significant upgrade over anyone the Bears had at the WR position last season. He's also still young enough that he could in fact have a few 900 yard plus seasons in him.
