Now according to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears also appear to be interested in Landry as well. Both teams need an upgrade at the safety position, and might be able to get Landry at a good price, since he hasn’t played a full regular season since 2008. Cole also stated that the Redskins want Landry back, which is a bit of shock since I’ve been hearing they’re ready to move on from him.

The 26 year-old Hawthorne would be a nice addition for Bears alongside Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher. Hawthorne had 115 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 interceptions in 2011.

While you might be saying "wow, what a great source you have," it's believed to be a potential upset inside the Bears organization if he doesn't end up as a Bear. They're going to make every effort to have him wearing a Bears jersey next year. 2. This isn't really anything new, but they probably won't be making a push for Mario Williams. Their goal is to add a former 3-4 OLB, like Kamerion Wimbley, as the DE opposite of Peppers, sign Jackson, and go after a veteran OL in FA.
