Since we got Marshall....I think our focus in FA should be with Nicks from the Saints and Winston from the Texans. With those two we could have a great Oline for Cutler. Some same Winston is a RT...so put himthere and move Gabe to the left. I would be better than Webb right? So where does Nicks play LG..then move Williams to RG...let them (Spencer,Williams) fight it out. Or you can line then up this way...sure will be better than last years line!!! Winston - Nicks - Garza - Williams - Carimi Carimi - Nicks - Garza - Williams - Winston

Apparently LSU's left tackle, Ciron Black, still hasn't signed with anybody. I have no idea why the Bears aren't on the phone with him right now. His lack of agility and range means he's not a left tackle in the pros, but he could project to either right tackle or guard. The guy is seriously durable and consistent (made 53 starts for LSU,) and he's a good run-blocker with enough size/strength to help in the run game. I'm sure he wouldn't be able to hold up in pass-protection at left tackle, but as a developmental guard or right tackle prospect, he seems like he'd have a ton of upside.

  5. Was it the year Thomas Jones & the Medicine woman signed on opening day? I believe Moose signed before FA even started. I mainly ask, because every year during this weekend, I'm glued to the Radio & computer waiting to hear big news, and it never happens.

I have to wonder where they'd be ranked if they'd won every game they should've/could've this year. Imagine where we'd be right now if we had a defense! http://pro32.ap.org/poll Not that rankings mean anything, I just wish we hadn't lost twice to the friggen Lyin's so we'd be #1 in the division, two games ahead of the Packers with some momentum.

The 49ers are putting ILB Michael Wilhoite on the trading block, reportedly looking for a 6th or 7th round pick. He beat out Chris Borland last year to win the starting ILB job for Fangio. His stats weren't eye popping or anything, but he did start a whole season for a top 5 defense. At the very least you typically won't get a guy in the 6th or 7th round that could come in and compete for an ILB spot right out of the box. If Fangio likes this guy, getting a starting ILB for a 6th round pick would be huge.

Hey guys, last week I was able to stream the game online on WWW.VIPBOX.TV The quality wasn't that great and it would cut out on occasion but it's the only site I was able to find. All the good ones from last year seem to have been shut down. Hope this helps... GO BEARS!

In the event that Urlacher finishes the season with the bad knee who would you look to draft, sign in FA or trade for to replace him in the middle?

  12. Not just talking about the injuries, but the overall attitude. I watched the game online this weekend, and prior to the game, I saw an interview w/ Harris. His entire demenor was just bad. His answers were arrogant as hell. I don't recall if it was the guy doing the interview, or the guys back in the office that made the comment, but Harris looked and sounded like he was ready to rip the reporters head off. This was a scheduled sit down w/ Harris. Not running up to him as he is trying to leave the field after practice or something like that. I don't know. Just the way he came off. At one point, he was asked about his season last year, and he said he had…

I think the fact that we have yet to fill the last spot on the practice squad means we will be bringing in at least one OLman. We do not know which one, Miller, Anderson, ????? I keep on going to the various sites for news and the only thing I saw was Metcalf returning to practice, Oakley was signed by the Cardinals, and they were mentioning the missing player yet to be named on the PS. It will be interesting who we pick up. I am sure that it will just be a stop gap type of player, probably an older vet like R Brown was when we picked him up, or Miller. We will still have to address the issue of our OL next year in FA and the draft.
