Bearstalk

Just a few things I noticed today being at the game: - Forte was obviously great. Nice cut-backs. - Peppers is amazing. Manning made a few TD saving tackles + his good returns. Great job by Idonije as well. - Is Hester back? He's been great lately. - Why the hell did Martz start getting pass-happy in the 3rd? My God is Collins bad. If Lovie keeps him at the #2 QB, Hanie should punch Lovie in the sack. - OL (plus Manumaleuna) is still pretty terrible. - Connor: your boy proved me wrong with that 53 yarder today. - MadLith: told you- I'm 3-0 when I see them play somewhere other than Chicago. No worries. - Panthers fans are a joke. Didn't even get loud for…

Lions | W. Franklin claimed off waivers Comment (0) Tue, 14 Apr 2009 20:24:41 -0700 Mike Sando, of ESPN.com, reports the Detroit Lions have claimed WR Will Franklin (Chiefs) off waivers

Any reason? It wasn't exactly controversial by any means.

Was anyone else watching NFL network last night. I think the show was Around the League. They were interviewing Matt Millen about what he thought the Bears problem was. My wife and I were lying in bed watching this and I couldn't help myself but laugh. I was also wondering if he were watching different games than we were. He was saying that the Defense has been amazing and that the problem has been the offense. I hope he was joking. Did he not just see the last game were the Defense couldn't even do anything. They couldn't get pressure on the QB. They couldn't tackle. We couldn't get turnovers. They allowed the Bengals to score on there 1st 5 possessions. Of c…

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/football-thur...-174051955.html Wow. Peace

Ask and you shall receive... http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...ml#.U9ulUFY8icM Very impressive to see how quickly Sutton is adapting and learning how to succeed against one of the better OGs in the NFL. There's a reason he got time with the 1's instead of Collins when Ratliff got a day off.

This guy had some decent seasons for Oakland and has some speed. I can see why Cincy released him as they had Green, Jones, Sanu and Tate in front of him. We are pretty thin at WR, and Moore would seem like an upgrade.

With 324 yards rushing and 310 receiving and the Bears having a total of 1231 net yards he is clearly the kingpin of this offense. The longer the team waits the more costly it will be for them to sign him. As he spoke to Waddle and Silvy on AM 1000 ESPN todfay he said that even though he is trying to play through it, that its a distraction. He says he wants to be with a team that appreciates what he does. I agree!!

suntimes.com Thoughts?

#Bears agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $4m with WR Kendall Wright, source said. https://twitter.com/caplannfl/status/840715982100414465 Nice, had big year in 2013 with Dowell Loggains in TEN.

Now that we've signed special teams like always, this is a great draft 1. Dix - S 2. Roberson - CB 3. A. Johnson - DT 4. J. Sumwalt - ILB 5. D. Fales - QB

Please!!!!!!!! Don't go trying to make a splash!

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-2...,2887286.column First, I am not sure how many Bear fans "hate" Orton. Many bear fans are happy for him, and those who are not, I am not sure it is correct to say they "hate" him. No, they do not want to see him look great w/ another team as that would seem to call into question the bears. Second, how the hell can anyone question why a Bear fan would hate Favre. Seriously. This guy is a local beat writer, not only in Chicago, but for the Chicago Bears, and he can't understand why Bear fans would hate Brett Farve? Is he really that stupid. He writes about how waffling on retirement isn't a reason to hate him. I…

http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....ic-benson-.html 10/22/2009 Lance Briggs: No-huddle, Pisa's injury, Ochocinco, Cedric Benson Atlanta week was exciting, especially when you’re playing against a team of that caliber. You want to come in and make a statement about who you are as a team. Once a team starts to go no-huddle, you have a different type of procedure where we have wristbands on and we’re looking to get the calls out much faster. It’s just being more efficient. In order to be more efficient, we might do numbers or have the whole team look to the sideline to get the call instead of having to echo it all around … just a way of combating it.…

Chargers | Chambers waived Comment (0) Tweet me! Mon, 02 Nov 2009 12:39:58 -0800 Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports the San Diego Chargers waived WR Chris Chambers Monday, Nov. 2, according to a league source. He must clear waivers in order to play for another team, and each team will have a chance to claim Chambers by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3. The Chargers will not have to pay him the $2.5 million they owe him if he is claimed by another team.

Multiple sources reporting McPhee is cut.

From what I'm seeing tonight, we cannot take Buffalo for granted.

As always I’m amped up for the Draft here on the eve of the 1st round just like a kid the night before Christmas! Will Pace do right by the team or will he get selfish and greedy like the grinch? Gamble the Bears future with a huge Trade up, stay put, or trade back and infuse team with more potential talent? These are among just a few of the questions and draft scenarios we all ponder. Here is my final Mock that addresses current and future needs! 36. Zaven Collins LB Tulsa …

Lovie and Emery have repeatedly defended Webb despite his continued folly, but the happy facade is starting to crack. Asked if the Bears would consider a change, Smith revealed the true feelings of the inner circle: "if there's someone who can improve us we're going to look at it seriously." Despite a subpar Pro Day, Martin is a player that would have to make the Bears reconsider their situation.
