  3. There is a lot of gloom and doom suggested for this team this year. Here is why that changes this year. #1 They will be healthier this year. Last year the were the worst team in the league for injuries. They lost their starting QB early and as much as we put down Cutler, it would have had much better results with him at QB. #2 We have one of the best RBs in the league. If he had started from day one, he would have led the league in rushing. Do not sleep on 5.2 YPC. thats awesome. He has worked extremely hard this off season to get stronger and faster. The one thing that separates the studs from the average is work ethic. He has that. #3 Kyle wi…

his defense is a complete train wreck. i have never in my lifetime ever seen a bear defense this bad. it's historical. the wall of shame: tucker - i have given this guy a break all season because of the injury factor. no more!! i understand injuries can be a real cause for 'some' of the problems we are seeing but... by this time in the season NOBODY is a rookie anymore and to see these players game after game make the same mistakes and see no change or improvement is simply incredible.after 15 weeks of game play these players, rookies AND vets, still not having a clue how to play their position falls on the coaching staff and phil emery. either these …

I know alot of people deserve credit for today's win and some more then either. I just want to single them out and give them a lot of credit. Toub is a true professional and genious at his craft. The Bears continually have a great special teams, and that was a major factor in today. Knox, this isn't as much today, though he definitely contributed, I'm just in awe of his contributions as a whole. As a rookie WR it's hard to see time on the field for the Bears. He's not only earned his way on the field, but made the most of his opportunities. If he keeps up this work ethic and his talents continue to develop to the NFL stage he will continue to grow into something…

  6. Hey it is still a slow period. Who would you take, I say the best 3 options are AP. Jarret Allen, Kahil. Make a choice. As for me I think Kahil would be a bookend OT for 8 to 10 years with Carimi. Even though he hasnt played a down in the NFL yet, is upside is great.

I know the O-Line has issues and Caleb is a rookie QB, but Swift has been the least effective RB in the first 3 games of a season since 2009. The Bears are lucky to be 1-2 with his ineptitude. It is historically bad. The Bears needs to stick with Roschon and Herbert as the primary backs, then sprinkle in Swift on 3rd and longs. He is literally a drive killer. If you watch the drives that died, most of the time it was a terrible run by Swift that leaves the Bears in a bad down and distance, a dropped pass, etc. He has singlehandedly killed the Bears offensive rhythm. It is astounding really. If you look back at the previous games, it is the same thing. They wou…

Suppose the Bears used the rest of their available cap, not including the portion allotted for rookies, to sign Desean Jackson. How would you feel about this move?

If the Bears fire emery and staff it will cost them 15 million. If they are not able to trade Cutler it will cost them another 15 million if they cut him. It will cost the Bears 30 million dollars to clean house. If they clean house no one can blame them for being cheap(I stopped blaming them for being cheap awhile ago but some still do). That also doesn't even take into consideration on how much they will be paying the new staff.

If word gets out that he's open to coming to the NFL, there's my top HC choice. Think he'd be the next Pete Carroll.

Briggs wants Bears to acquire a veteran safety Apr 7 4/7/2010 8:19:37 PM | More Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Bears Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs is encouraged by the addition of Julius Peppers and the return of Brian Urlacher. He can even live with the departure of defensive end Alex Brown and cornerback Nathan Vasher. But Briggs is still hoping for one more player: a veteran safety. "I am excited with what we have right now. But I still think we need a safety, a veteran safety, to help our defense," Briggs said. "But, to me, I'm excited to work hard and prove ourselves."

This reminds me of when Griese killed the Bears a few years ago. This Cover-2 shit is just not a good defensive scheme if the opponent has a patient QB who is willing to chuck the ball for 7 yards at a time. It's the same thing that happened in the Super Bowl. Eventually, the DBs are naturally going to step in a bit, wanting to stop the quick passes and perpetual first downs. And then what happens? The deep outs and the seam passes are open. This defensive scheme just sucks. I hate its passive nature, and the way it can turn stud players into average players.

I know everyone has been hyped about Fields over the last few weeks, but Eddie Jackson needs some love. He leads the NFL in takeaways with 6 (4 INTs and 2 FFs), 3 players have 5, and 2 have 4. So outside of those 5 players, Jackson has double the amount of takeaways than every other player in the league this year. The most takeaways he had in one year was 8 (2018), INTs was 6 (2018), and FF was 3 (2020). So he has a great shot to break all his personal records with 8 games remaining.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...alize-its-over/ T.O. still doesn’t realize it’s over Posted by Mike Florio on May 19, 2012, 9:14 AM EDT Getty Images A year ago, receiver Terrell Owens tore an ACL. In October, he held a public workout that no team attended. That same day, 53 other players got private workouts with individual teams. Since then, not a single NFL team has given Owens a workout, even though he has shown that he can play football, via his decision to play on a part-time basis in the Indoor Football League. Even now, with 90 players on each team’s offseason roster, no one has offered Owens an opportunity to come in and s…

I read a story on the first 10 WRs taken in the last 4 drafts, there is only 10 players that made an impact on there teams. Most were busts, with the court still out on some of them. With that much risk at the top end of the draft, I only see the Bears taken a receiver with the 1st pick if Crabtree or Macklin are there. Probably wont draft one till the 3rd or 4 th round.
