I know most media outlets had the Bears at 6-10 or 7-9 going into the season, but that is a tall task now with a 2-0 start. Things would have to really go south to end the season with anything less than 8 wins. That's good news. Despite being one of 11 2-0 teams, the Bears crack the top 15 in only two of the national power rankings I could find. NFL.com ranks the Bears 19th, USA Today 19th, Bleacher Report 18th, ESPN 17th, Yahoo Sports 15th, and SI.com ranks us 14th (the highest of the few I looked at). We are off to a good start to the 2020 season. However, we still have 4 GMs that have not paid their league dues yet. Leaguesafe imposes a $10 fee on late payments, so there is not much I can do there. https://leaguesafe.com/join/3948858 The updated deadline is now set to Sunday, September 27th. I don't know about you, but I didn't expect this kind of season from our kicker. Santos broke all kinds of franchise records and ended the season making 27 straight kicks. His only misses were from 46 and 52, with one blocked XP. I really hope we can lock him up for a few years and not have to worry about kicking. Then our favorite ex-kicker Parkey is prepping to let down another entire fanbase in Cleveland in the playoffs.

So let's assume Robinson has to walk, or gets franchised and traded. Who would you pick up for a replacement? Ideally I'd like Golladay but he'd cost about as much as Robinson. Another idea is Sammy Watkins.

Now I dunno if they will trade him, or decline matching offers and take the two first round picks or what, but we tagged him. He played really well in the rotation. The only issue is his suspension to start the season.

If the Bears signed Golladay and kept ARob, the Bears would have a top 5 WR Corps with ARob, Golladay, Mooney, and Miller. Even if they cut or traded Miller for cap space, they would still be very solid. Add Montgomery, Cohen, and Kmet, and you have a really solid offense. The Fuller move would feel much better if the Bears got Golladay and kept ARob because they would essentially be transferring cap from CB to WR, which I am fine with.

Tashaun Gipson is the free agent I was hoping to resign. I thought he played well last year considering Eddie Jackson lacklustre play. Another year of familiarity with the Bears and playing for a good contract I hope he plays great and gets rewarded by the Bears. I now feel that safety isn’t a need and Pace can draft best player available or trade up to get a QB prospect. I hope it’s the former and my ideal scenario is trade back in the first to a desperate team and pick up another 2nd. Fields gets the start with the starting O-Line. We will see how they hold up and will get to see how Peters looks at full speed. Mostly backend roster and bubble players tonight. I would like to see better tackling and better special teams play overall. Go Bears!

I have no way of knowing if Nagy will be replaced as HC. I've given up trying to figure out what the 'brain trust' of the Bears are going to do. My apologies on two fronts; first if this has already been mentioned and second because I can’t figure out how to link it but Dan Wiederer had a great article in today’s Chicago Tribune about the leadership of this team. A great, great read. I can only hope George is finally truly enlightened because there’s some pretty damning stuff there.

Come off the practice squad and play well in your first NFL game under the bright spotlights of MNF alongside a makeshift secondary that has never played together and you're going to get some attention. It's too early to say he's our starter opposite Johnson next year but he might earn it in the last few games. What will be most interesting is that he'll get to see the Vikings twice which is really lucky for him. For people like me who were wondering why we didn't see him sooner, he explains that himself: He wasn't playing well enough consistently. Just need to do a quick recognition of Robert Quinn and his historic sack total. To think his highest number (19) was achieved during the 2013 (almost 9 years ago!!) season that’s pretty incredible. And while achieving this year’s record he also logged his 100th career sack. Congratulations Robert.

Can our two biggest weapons reach 1000 yards? With nine games left Forte has 456 yards rushing.That means he is 564 yards short of 1000. So if we feed him the ball over the next nine games he has to gain at least 62 yards per game. Marshall on the other hand has 575 yards receiving, so he is 325 yards short of 1000. So Marshall has to gain 325 yards over the next nine games and average at least 36 yards per game.......do you think they both get to the 1000 yard mark?

Hello everyone , Its been a while since I posted. I hope everybody is doing good ? Let me ask you what would be your offensive game plan be for tonight? We all know what our defense will do, #1 stop the run and #2 then play the pass. And if the Texans are charitable our "D" will have no problem of receiving such gifts. Game time weather and field conditions should be considered in your thoughts.
