In my morning perusal, read on another board about the prospect of the Bears entertaining the idea or signing Adalius Thomas in light of the recent loss of Hillenmeyer. Why not? Don't think it really will happen, as the Jets and Dolphins are much more interested, but intriguing nonetheless. Two items caught my eye yesterday: Chad Henne signed a two year deal for $8mil Matt Cassell signed a two year deal for $10mil If that's the market for backup and/or care-taker QBs while rookies learn the ropes, goodbye Josh McCown. He did a great job for us and if he can now get a similar contract to those above then that's great for him and his family. It's just not a deal the Bears can do given all the needs on defense.

Again it seems the big story from national publications is that the roughing call against Suh is what won the game for the bears. Like if Suh doesn't commit that penalty then the bears offense was helpless.
