This was a great win for us, one that the team can really build upon. Offense moved the ball well at times but penalties killed us too often. Despite all the negative plays Cutler kept his focus an stayed within the game plan. Same goes for Gase who didn't fall into the trap of abandoning the run despite the Packers focus on stopping it. Anyone else enjoy the second half of the NFC title game? That was a heck of a comeback by Seattle outscoring the packers 22-6 in the second half and scoring the winning TD in overtime. Packers came within a favorable call of getting knocked out last week and this week they got off to a good start but got owned when it mattered. I kept waiting for some BS call to bail out the Packers but it didn't come and they are sent home with no super bowl.

The Rodgers drama, now Davante Adams? This may all end up being nothing, but both of them could be gone after this year. I never saw this coming. I didn't realize he was a year older than ARob. I also didn't realize Adams has only had 2x 1000 yd seasons. He is a TD machine, but has only hit 100 receptions and 100 yards twice. The fact that they offered Rodgers a 2-yr extension to make him the league's highest paid player also speaks volumes about how they really feel about Jordan Love.

That was a satisfying Packers loss (now 4-7). At home, in Prime Time, Rodgers folds like a wet noodle in the 4th. He ended up with a 5.8 Y/A and most of his throws were quick throws behind the LOS. His QBR is 40.9, which is also laughable. Him and LaFleur sure don't look like juggernauts when they don't have HoF level receivers. The Packers are basically screwed due to Rodgers. His contract is reedonkulous. Dead cap for 2023? 99.7M! LMAO! In 2024? $68M. In 2025? Just 45.4M. So they are stuck with him for at least 2023 and maybe even 2024 (41 yrs old). About halfway through the game I commented to my son how much white space Nagy had on his play sheet. And he did have just a single sheet with plays on both sides. In contrast McCarthy was walking around with at least 2 sheets, maybe 3, and they were full on both sides. I expect that white space gets filled in more and more each week. Obviously there's a difference in QBs but in the end what we saw was one team learning a new offense and another where their QB has been doing the same thing for 14 years. Was thinking about this earlier in the week and it was just brought up on Waddle and Silvy. Who would you rather win tomorrows game? You'd think the obvious answer is that you want the Packers to win because it'd mean a Bears W means they're in first place. But, a Lions victory all but knocks the Packers, who will be getting Rodgers back in a week(maybe), out of the playoffs. Really not sure which way I'd wanna go here.

Just said on SportsCenter. This is terrible. The guy doesn't deserve to be in the league. I love Goodell but this move sucks.
