Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson had bloodshot eyes, a "strong" alcohol odor and slurred speech when stopped by authorities while boating last weekend on Lake Travis near Austin, Texas, according to a police report released Monday. Benson said he will fight the misdemeanor charges against him -- boating while intoxicated and resisting arrest. The former Texas Longhorn is scheduled to appear in court May 19. With the Bears winning the NFC North, and coming in as the #2 seed into the playoffs with a bye, what would they have to do to deem this season as a success?

I was thinking we can do a Talkbears consensus pick for each selection up until the Bears pick. No trades, etc. I will then remove the selected player and make another poll until we get to 14 (hopefully before the real draft). If it goes quick, we can go beyond and have two mocks to compare on draft day. The minimum will be 20 total votes or 10 votes for one player to move on. I am curious to see how this plays out.

So was reading on Rotoworld where depending on how well Freeman does in Minnesota, Ponder could very well be released next year. And they pointed out chances are he would not compete for a starting spot. So I ask.. Could he be a fit? Pluses: two years removed from being a number one pick (young), good numbers at Fla State, strong arm and good speed. Cons: hx of shoulder and arm injury (throwing), tendency to stare down receivers, indecisive Wondering aloud if this would be a worthwhile project for Trestman (that is should he be successful in his current project).

from the schedule on nfl website all games are on sunday the 28th including a sunday night matchup with denver and san diego. the den sd game is listed as a monday night game on the picksheet page. is this incorrect and if so we don't fill in the total points section for the sunday night game? thanks
