Here is an interesting article suggesting what the Bears do this year. What I find interesting is they have Floyd doing 14 and 1/2 sacks. Glennon has a good year. Howard is a stud. Cohen adds some offense. Meridith has a good year but I think White has more of an impact than they suggest. With the added pass rush we will have more ints that they suggest. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2709581...leaders-in-2017

We had early 16-6 lead, 16-9 at half (amazing right?), then got shutout in 2nd half and lost 22-16 with multiple possessions to tie/win the game near the end. In those possessions, Cutler got sacked, strip-sacked, and threw game ending INT. The defense played doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde all game long. One drive, look dominant and next drive, look completely lost. The offense looked good in the first half and looked like a high school team in the 2nd half. Sitton and Miller got hurt, and Floyd got hurt so bad he was carted off on a backboard with an apparent neck injury. So Floyd completes the Quad-fecta, and joins fellow 1st rounders (White, Fuller, and a …

What do you think? I like the passion, and if Nagy fails to improve the offense, Mike can slide into the HC position easily.

for pushing the blocker into the punt at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Great, great play. Just keep him off the field on offiense. Peace

Round 1 Hakeem Nicks WR fufills the Bears need to add another playmaker on offense. Round 2 Lawrence Sidbury DE this adds a young fresh talent to be groomed to replace one of the Bears aging DEs and also is the traditional small school pick that JA takes in the 2nd round. Round 3 Phil Loadholt RT this fills a glaring need on the right side of the O-line and gives the Bears a huge Big Cat type player with youth. Round 4 Tyronne Green OG this players stock has been rising since the Senior Bowl and may not be here but if he is he would add some more youth to the interior of the line. Round 5 Drew Willy QB I believe that you should add a QB via the draft…

I haven't been able to post much since the first game but one of the most obvious differences I noticed with our D against the Bengals was the lack of gang tackling. I give Lovie credit because we always had 11 guys running toward the ball and it paid off routinely. Too often against the Bengals we would have one or two players go for a tackle but additional support was either late getting there or never arrived. I'm glad Tucker and the players are addressing this in practice this week as we need this to stop AP this weekend. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...rn-fundamentals

As my mind goes and I study more I have a new game plan for today anyway. We resign Scott, Louis, Melton, Roach. We pick up in FAgency Wheeler MLB.Bushrod LT, Donnie Avery WR In the draft I found a trade partner Cinn. They have two second round picks and have needs of a #2 WR and a MLB. So we trade our #20 for for #37 and #84 in the third round. Also a #6 as they have two in that round. #2 (37) Zack Ertz-TE-Stanford Need a definite upgrade at TE #2 (50) Larry Warford-OG-Kent A LG that will start from day one #3 (84) Kevin Reddick-MLB-NC A productive LB with speed #4 Brian Schwenke-OC-Cal Could take Garza spot as much as next…

Demitrius Byrd from LSU. Man, it seems like something like this happens every couple years I remember when Dennis Weathersby from Oregon Stae was shot like 3 days before the draft. Hope to see him recover. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/news/story?id=4083554

Keeping up with our division rivals here is who they drafted, and my opinions on that. Detroit 1/20 C Ragnow good player, moves well, not that strong (yet) and this seemed early for him to come off the board 2/11 RB Kerryon Johnson he's a good RB but not special in any area, he will definitely help give them a solid running game 3/18 S Tracy Walker NFLDraftScout had him listed as a 5th Rd prospect. NFL.com has his graded as a career backup potential, again Rd 5-6 4/14 DE Da'shawn Hand ranked as 2/3rd Rd seems to be good value here in the 4th but for his athletic talent he underperformed in college 5/16 G Tyrell Crosby a…
