So far, according to either the Times or NFL.com, the Bears have had/will have private workouts with Phil Loadholt (RT, Oklahoma), Hakeem Nicks (WR, North Carolina), and Eben Britton (RT, Arizona). They also really like Herman Johnson (OG, LSU), along with Tampa and San Diego. Just wanted your guys' thoughts on this.

Other than a few high end drafts picks, Britton, Britt, Nicks, I think almost all the private workouts are second day picks. They seem to be looking for that diamond in the rough all the time. Althought, come to think of it, thats where they draft the best anyways. Payne , Graham, ect.

I was thinking, which players on the Bears have the best chance at a Pro Bowl, based on last year's performance, and a little projection? On defense, I was thinking Edmunds and Brisker. On offense, Moore and Jenkins or Davis seem like they have the best chance. Fields might have a shot. The best QBs in the NFC from last year were Hurts, Cousins, Goff, Smith, and Jones. What do you think? Do the Bears have anyone you think has a good shot at a Pro Bowl selection this year?

After seeing today's games, it is evident that they should wait until the season is completely finished before voting. If you think about it, there is no reason to do it with 2+ games remaining with the Pro Bowl being played AFTER the Super Bowl. Urlacher would almost be a guarantee after his last two games: 8 tackles, 1 Fumble Recovery, 2 Sacks, 2 Interceptions, 2 Passes Defended, and a Touchdown. He is now the only player in the league with 4 or more Sacks and Interceptions.

Weird to see Bears as leading vote getters, 4 OL on the list, 14 total players in the top 10. The top 4 guys should be in consideration for All Pro, Dalman, Thuney, and Byard should be 1st Teamers. Wright, just because of name recognition will probably lose out to Horn or Surtain for 1st Team All-Pro. Im doing a job here in Canton, Oh and I will be at the Hall of Fame tomorrow (Saturday 13th) at like 1100. Not sure if anybody lives around here or may have had a trip scheduled. With Balt drafting Stanley, I can see Eugene Monroe being traded or cut. He would definitly be an upgrade as the LT and is only 29, would have 3 to 4 years left at a high level. With Hargraeves going to TB and then grabbing Grimes in FA I can see them cutting loose of Alterraun Verner/CB. He played well before he got to TB and he is 27.

I think we are gearing up some funds to get this guy, but is this why we cant offer him a contract? Is it true he has til June 1st to sign? after that im guessing hes cut and its a bidding war...

I have seen many areas called out, but to me, more than any other key, we are simply losing the battle of the trenches. Offense Atlanta is not a great run defense, but we made them look pretty dang good. Prior to playing us, Grant (GB) hit them for 83 yards, and Grant has sucked this year. Carolina tag teamed them w/ Williams and Stewart for about 110. Larry Johnson, who has looked old and tired, racked up 121, and even Jamal Charles got into the action for another 40. TB ran all over them too w/ Graham (116) and Dunn (50). Then we face them, and we watch Forte getting hit early and often in the backfield. He ended up getting 76 yards on 20 carries, but t…
