Ok, I have been tempering my excitement and it is only the preseason but I always felt that there are things you can take away from the preseason even if it is not game outcome related. The operation as a whole looks crisper, tighter, and it feels like everyone understands what is going on. Communication looked good, no delay of game penalties or wasted time outs. The buy in is real. Burdens blocks at the goal line were impressive. If the players have confidence and trust the process, there is another level that can be achieved, something we haven't seen since the Lovie era. It seems like the Bears have been in the lead all season, but only have a 2-2 record to show for it. I was wondering in the four games they have played this season, how many minutes have they been in the lead and how many have they been trailing? The Answer The Bears have led for 170:37 of 250:39 minutes this season, or 68.1 percent of the time. The score has been tied during 46:21 (18.5 percent) and Chicago has trailed for only 33:41 (13.4 percent). The Bears did not trail in Sunday night’s win over the Eagles and trailed in their other win this season for just :53 at Indianapolis. The Bears have led for 56:01 of 60 minutes in the fourth quarter this season.

In trade from Vikings. Apparently draft picks involved with deal. Interesting moves the Bills are making these last few days. Could their offense suddenly be legit? Hell they didn't look all that bad with Orton running the show. Cassel isn't that much worse. Vikings could be getting really good really fast and stay young in the process. Not sure the RB situation but Bridgewater is the real deal (or so it seems) and now Minnesota has a few more draft picks to beef up their team.

Keeping up with our division rivals here is who they drafted, and my opinions on that. To the "TalkBears" family, all my best during this Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Holidays.
