I have been watching Bears games for 46 years. The last few years the Press conferences I have watched or read with Lovie were always like watching a valium commercial. But this preseason has been quite different. It appears to me Lovie has taken turn since taking the Defensive play calling. His demeanor has changed, He actually looks to be exited, (at least for Lovie Smith). It also seems that the answers to the question he is asked by reporters are a heap more involved answers and not the same ole "its a process" or "we shall over come" talk. He actually appears to be opening up a bit more and its really nice to see. I dont know if you guys noticed it but I thought I wo…

I just have a feeling that this is going to be brought up at some point. They will point to the injuries on the O-Line to Slauson, Mills, DLP, and Britton, and on the D to Peanut, Briggs, Houston, Conte, Ratliff, Fuller and say that those were the reason this team struggled all year with consistency. I hope not, but I see it coming.

He wont last, but I'd love Steven Hill.... In turn, Alshon Jeffery

Two OTs with upside, stud NT, and a freakish edge rusher. The Raiders Are having a great draft.

Per the trib.. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,3260085.story He'd be a welcome addition if his knee is sound.

Texans and Arian Foster reached agreement on a five-year, $43.5 million deal that includes $20.75 million guaranteed. per Shefter I think this is what Forte would be looking for.

INJURY REPORT AND IMPLICATIONS Chicago Bears (6-5) at Minnesota Vikings (6-5) By Michael Nudo Napoleon Harris has taken over for E.J. Henderson at middle linebacker (AP Photo/Phil Coale). BEARS OFFENSEcolor> vs. VIKINGS DEFENSEcolor> Quarterback Kyle Orton (ankle) is gradually getting back to full health. He had a decent game last week and should be peaking again in time for this matchup in the Metrodome. Tight end Desmond Clark left last week’s game against the Rams with a knee injury. If he misses time, Greg Olsen will get all the reps with some time added for rookie Kellen Davis in double tight end situations. Marty Booker has been trying to rec…

This guy has quietly put together his best season as a pro. 70 receptions, 678 yards, and 6 TDs. Receptions and yards are already a career high with 2 games left. Yesterday was his first career 100-yard game and he did it only playing the first half. Right now he is 7th amongst TEs in receptions, and 28th in the NFL overall. For yards, he is 8th amongst TEs. So he clearly is a top 10 TE, and it feels like he still has some room to grow as a receiver.

But even though I’m a JF fan, and a fans of JD, We can’t pass on Caleb. His mental makeup separates him from the class. He’s everything we want in a qb. Most likely, we as bears fans will never get an opportunity to draft a qb of this caliber in our lifetime

Happy Thanksgiving to you all ! I enjoy coming here , mostly to read the commentary of my fellow Bears fans. You bring so much to the discussion and often joy is at the center of your words and thoughts, and for that I’m grateful. I hope you enjoy the day in your own special way. Take care and be safe.

Damn, Singletary as a Linebackers coach, and McDaniels possibly as the OC. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/post/Mc...?urn=nfl-304558

Sorry if this looks like a wasted post, but I just wanted to get some people in the chatroom this week for the game. Alot of people, like myself, probably scan right down past the top posts and forget about it. Let's fill up the chatrooma and watch the Chicago Bears go to 2-1!!! http://pub25.bravenet.com/chat/show.php/2092760412

Was just released. Would Chicago be able to use him? More importantly would he cost much? Ratliff and he reunited??

I thought Rich Gannon was uptight. Someone please check on Cousins this week, everyday!!!
