a pass interference no call on 3rd and goal, just now well after the whistle blows Clark is pushed and then thrown to the ground and no foul.... what has to happen to warrant a freaking penalty? Dose a Bears player have to get injured or killed? Such freaking BS. The first would have resulted in first and goal at the 1 instead at fourth and goal at the 4 we kick a 22 yard FG The second would have been an automatic first down, instead 3rd down and we have an incomplete pass and kick another fg on 4th down. Non calls hurt us as much as the bad ones do.

Same site; this time just select By Team http://www.profootballfocus.com/cstats.php...e=a&stats=o Kreutz is rated far and away as our best Oline. Garza is right behind him. Chris Williams and Orlando Pace are rated so poorly on pass protection it's embarrassing. Pace run blocking rating at -9.0 has to make you wonder why the staff didn't make a move to Shaffer sooner and move Williams back to his more natural left side. Then again, this is Lovie we're talking about so no need to wonder. If you look at OT performance overall Pace ranks and 74th out of 76. Ouch. (Minn OTs aren't rated that highly either, Arizona's are way down there too) It's …

Will be the end of the Bears' current staff. Im thinking it will be so embarrassing and the home crowd will force the issue

If BearFansUnited.org are successful what would you do? The family does not have the money to eat the contracts of Lovie and JA AND hire a big name (Shanahan or ???) to take charge. I personally do not fault JA for our problems. He brought in Cutler. He signed Pace who we all felt would be a great improvement over St Clair (little did we know). He brought in several other OLmen trying to beef up the OL. Was he successful, no, but he did make an attempt to fix a problem and I am sure he will address it again this off season. He tried to go after a #1 WR in Boldin. He has done a good job of finding players for our coaching staff to work with. The pr…

Here is a request from Uncle Meatball of BearFansUnited.org in regards the game against the ViQueens via this link to the website: http://bit.ly/5Z9JHv Basically what he is asking that all fans attending the game to wait until after the initial kick-off to the game before taking your seats. If I was in town and attending the game, I would be very interested in hanging out with my fellow fans to help make a statement to the McCaskey family and the upper management of this team. It does not cost anyone anything and does not truly make you miss the game, just the opening kick-off. I hope all that go will wait until after the kick before heading to their se…

It is sort of interesting to see where both of these players are a couple years after they both dominated the return game in 2007. Since then, Hester has been converted to a full time WR and has 0 return TD's and is near the bottom in Punt Returns (8.1 AVG). Receiving-wise, Hester has scored 6 Receiving TDs since 2007 with over 1,300 yards in two seasons (49th in receiving yards in 2008 and currently 43rd in 2009). Cribbs has 6 Return TDs since 2007, and is still a league leader in both Punts and Kickoffs. At this point, has this been the wrong decision? Based on the numbers, Hester is scoring less as a WR than as a Returner, and based on number of snaps, e…

This article has a segment where they talk about how the offensive coaches schemed to double team Ray Edwards (the other Vikings DE) instead of Jared Allen. Allen got two sacks against Pace that game. Pace also got hurt that game and Shaffer came in and we still didn't change our scheme. Turner is coy and won't tip our hand completely for this game though as Turner states we'll be switching off the chip blocks to either DE. I'm glad we have such creative coaches that we do such unexpected schemes like this so we can catch defense off guard. Cutler is pretty damning with his statement at the end. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0…

First, I would like to say happy holidays to everybody and hope all is going well ! It's been a pretty disappointing season and our football future seems to be up for grabs right now unfortunately. Many have been screaming for heads but few will fall. I believe Angelo and above are safe for a long time. Lovie will probably be safe for another year maybe two. He is a Mc Caskey favorite, and keeps everything under wraps and doesn't make waves . More then likely he will get a new O staff. But who in there right mind will take this O.C. job ? Answer: unemployed friends , some college OC , how about someone on their own staff already ? Sounds wonderful and…

One of the first thoughts I have is the way Allen abused Pace the last time we played, and regardless how often that happened, we continued to play Pace man-to-man against Allen, w/o giving him any help. Well, we now have Williams on the left side, and I just hope we do not make the same mistake. Every team that faces Minny uses a 2nd blocker on Allen. Allen will crush Williams if we don't give him help, and that could end up being the sort of game that shatters a young mans confidence, not to mention Cutlers neck. We need to really focus on Allen and give Williams plenty of help. With Wale out, I wonder who gets his snaps. Adams? Anderson? Idonije? Frankly…

Finally given the chance to show why Jay Cutler has been lobbying so hard on his behalf since the start of training camp, WR Devin Aromashodu made a strong impression in the Week 14 loss to the Packers. Aromashodu highlighted his first start as a Bear with a terrific 10-yard back-shoulder TD catch. He had two catches for 10 yards in Week 15. "Cutler likes that he's a bigger target," a team insider said of Aromashodu, who was plucked off the Redskins' practice squad last season. "He's not just a possession guy; he can stretch the field. And he's the only receiver on the team who can win jump balls." Why the Bears waited so long before working Aromashodu into the mix …

Here is something that Vaugh McClure just put up on the Tribune website about regretting not doing more to prevent the collapse of this season: Lance Briggs pointed the finger at one person to blame for the Bears' 5-9 collapse the season: himself. "If I was a better leader, maybe we win more games, period," the linebacker and defensive co-captain said during a community visit Tuesday. "Who wouldn't take it personally? I'm not a leader by default. I'm a leader because I've earned the right to be a leader. So a lot of that burden does fall on my shoulders." The Bears have little chance to atone, with just two games remaining in the season. But Briggs, w…

Just when I though no one could get dumber than the Bears coaching staff I stumbled across this nugget. All I have to say is what the hell were they thinking when they drew this up? The Redskins "Trick Play"
