Allright....back to the Bears! Who is everyone's favourite Bear within the current team? I would go for Tillman probably myself. I am waiting for a Bears safety to come out again, like Plank, Brown, Parrish, or Fenczik (spelling? SCS, can you help?) But my favourite of all time......hmmm. I have to go with Wilber Marshall.....what a linebacker he was!

When Vic Fangio was named to John Fox's staff, I wondered what was coming. Now with Eberflus coaching the Cover 2 defense, I have the same questions! Who on this roster fits this scheme? Our new GM has made it clear that he is going to build this team in step with his coach. I love this and I'm willing to wait on the results

I want Paxton Lynch as our back up to Cutler

I'm still not comfortable with McGown at a hit away from being the starter. Im looking at the Jets collection of qbs and got my eye on Mc Elroy. On the street after Trent Edwards there isn't much. Thoughts anyone?

The Bears will part ways with back-up quarterback Caleb Hanie and who would be a great cheap option? One site says the the Bears might look at a proven vet(I didn't say star) like Orton, Garard or even Grossman. Yes I know but it was a thought....lol. Grossman did get us to the Superbowl at least.

I have watched the Bears over the years recently pretty much ignore the OL and since drafting Orton really not address a QB to develop. LeFevre(sp?) and Enderle aside, this team needs to do better than Campbell,McCown,Collins and Haney. I would like to see them use one of the 5 picks they currently have on a QB to develop. Why,because with a new coach considered a QB guru and Cutler entering the last year of his contract you have to protect yourself in case this staff doesn't feel Cutler is the one to lead this team.

Who is/are our backup QBS? Can we get a Brock Purdy-type with our last compensatory pick? Or will they go with a vet? And will his style be similar to Fields'? Just curious.

I watched the video clip about him and they mentioned him going in Rd 3. CBS draft board has him as a 5th Rd pick. I think we go QB in 4-5th Rd so Savage is a guy who should be on our radar.

I think the Bears like Matt Blanchard as the #3, but we still need a capable #2. I can't see us spending the money it would take to get (or being a very enticing landing spot for) fringe starters like Kolb, who is apparently soon to be released, or Fitzpatrick, who already has been. Campbell had his chance here. Remaining candidates include Byron Leftwich (probably not a great fit), Brady Quinn (I could see it), or Kellen Clemons (snore). Am I crazy to think the best remaining realistic FA option is (gasp!) Rex Grossman? Or maybe we just wait to see who gets released after the draft?

Was listening to the score before the pregame and they gave me an idea. Bad Bears Bingo. I made a list of all the typical dumb things the Bears do in a course of a game and made up a bingo card of those things and as I see it happen on screen, I place a bingo chip LOL Might as well find a way to entertain myself while watching this disaster of a football team.

I'm not here to start anything, but simply don't understand the choosing of this artist for the Superbowl. He doesn't sing in English. I've been blasted on other platforms for being racist, old and out of touch. To me, it's the demographic. I'm being told the demographic is not what I believe it is. I don't get it..

Matt Forte was seen limping off the field during today's OTA - he didn't return. It all happened a few minutes before the practice ended, so the fact that he didn't come back from the locker room may not mean much. Turner on the injury: "I don't think there's any concern...I think he'll be fine.''

Hunter was already in a tough position. Coming off a bad season, the guy who replaced him has been seemingly replaced by a veteran (Pisa), likely pushing Hunter further down the depth chart. Hunter needs to make a strong case to stick, but w/ the injury, he can't even play right now. IMHO, the best argument for him to stay on the team was his ability to provide depth at both SLB and MLB. Just read today that, w/ Urlacher held out of practice (for a minor issue), it was Jamar Williams manning the middle. So in the 3rd Quarter, on the Raiders only TD drive, Carr gets hurt, then Peterman comes in for a few plays. On a 4th and inches play, the Raiders get a great spot without there being any possible way the side judges can see where the ball is to spot the ball. It just seems to me, the following are things are bad trends that seem to have no end in sight... 1. We can't beat Green Bay. One out of the 9 last attempts is beyond dismal 2. We have a hard time beating good teams. Seems like when we go against a really good team, we tend to play our worst. Whether is the Giants, SF, Green Bay, NE, NO...granted, most teams struggle against good teams. But good teams beat good teams often enough. We can beat up on the Colts, Vikings, Rams...but when it comes to a good team, I think our record is really awful. 3. We play poor at night it seems. We did win a couple last year.
