GB - I'll take a nice sloppy game tonight. Both the bears and Pukers are about equal in terms of rushing offnese, but there is a huge difference in rush defense. We are the 7th ranked run D, allowing less than 100 yard per game and only 3.5 ypc average. GB meanwhile is the 27th run defense, allowing nearly 140 yards per game, and 4.7 ypc average. They have us in the passing game, both in offense and defense, but if the weather is as cold and bad as it looks, it will making passing much harder. We have players returning from injury but there are questions about who will remain a starter. Bushrod should be close to returning. I haven't heard anyone clamoring for him to get back on the field, not even our Oline guru Jason (not that Bushrod was a favorite of his). Will Leno stay as our starter when Bushrod is healthy? I think we're going with the future here so I say yes. Grasu...I think once he recovers from his neck injury he'll be back at center. That brings up the option of Ducasse moving back to RG or do we keep Omameh at RG and put Ducasse on the bench? I think our starting Oline becomes Leno, Slausson, Grasu, Omameh, and Long. SMC..…

Hats off to Eddie Royal! He is becoming a big part of this team this year. After last season I was ready to move on, but the way he has been performing, they are lucky to have him locked up. Royal and Z Miller are our TD mahines, Pace has a couple of gems here.

Just throwing this out there , it was mentioned on the radio the other day that Chicago is the only mega metropolitan area not to have a second team. The Halas family name carries weight in the league I believe as long as Virginia is alive I can’t imagine someone breaching it, but isn’t it time for a second team? Just some offseason scuttle butt to kick around.

Here's a topic - I think Pace should have signed Robinson to a long term deal. Of course I don't know what he was asking, but if it was fair market value, I think it was a mistake not to sign him and give Fields that receiver to grow with long term.

Hester said he is retiring after his stellar performance returning for Seattle (194 yds) in yesterdays playoff game. Pace better get on the phone and propose he hold off and contemplate a send off from the Bears. He was one of the most electricfiling players in history and a tribute of him would electrify those emotions he brought everytime he stepped on the field.

Had good seats for tonights game here's my observations. I tried to key on some players throughout the game. Watching the TV broadcast (which just started) will give me a different perspective. We owned half the stadium tonight. I was surprised at how many Trubisky jerseys were being worn. All the talk back in the summer of all Bears fans hating that draft pick don't appear to be true. I don't think they all got purchased this past week. Offense: Glennon sucks. The play calling was clearly designed to get him, and perhaps the entire offense, into a comfort zone early on with some positive plays. It was disappointing to suffer through that. Once …
