Orton 18-30, 243 yards, 2 TD's Forte 23 carries, 111 yards, 1 TD's, 3 catches, 35 yards, 1 TD Gould- 1/1 on FG Hester- Finally gets a PR for a TD Bears 31-27

Bears turn around and trade a 2nd round pick for WR Chase Claypool! Bears to get Chase Claypool in trade with Steelers Good move, IMO. Chase has caught 32 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown for the Steelers this season despite having an unstable QB room. He will be a great addition to help Fields. Here is a quote from WindyCityGridiron.com:

This franchise is unbelievable. George is a complete imbecile that couldn't run a fast food chain. They could have just run a replay of the 2015 presser. Even that was less stupid than what I heard today. Every bit of goodwill and hope is just pie in the sky. This franchise will NEVER amount to anything as long as this family owns them.

Trade bait: Roster cuts from 80 to 75 are due Tuesday and teams are beginning to call around to see what might be available. A league source said the Bears have informed other clubs that running back Garrett Wolfe and safety Al Afalava could be traded. That doesn't mean they will be or they're destined to be released, but the fishing line has been cast. Wolfe is in competition with Kahlil Bell for the third running back job. Bell has been staying after practice to get extra special teams work in this week. The third running back must be a four-phase special teams contributor and Wolfe has been a good one. "It's definitely a different type of challenge, tryi…

It's geared to help Cutler, so can't lI've it... hahaha Drafttek 2015 NFL Draft Mock Draft | Round 4 Picks 97-128 | http://www.drafttek.com/2015-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round4.asp

Well, it's about time to start this discussion back up. We probably have a minor signing or two left, but otherwise the team is set. Remember, please do not submit another mock. No trades. Both include too many what-if scenarios. I'll fire up a mock, then everyone chime in with your thoughts, suggestions, recommendations, etc. List the players you hate at the round mocked, where you think specific positions need to be addressed. I'll try to stay out of it for the most part, and I'm trying not to interject what I want. I'm putting what I think the Bears might do based on their moves this offseason. This is the previous draft we all agreed upon: MOCK …

Is it safe to say that with the addition of Hood that maybe Burgess,Turenne, McBride, Deleston, Moore and Bullocks are all cut next week with Tillman going on the PUP list?

Three guys I'd like us to sign are Graham Gano, Brannan Southerland, and Jamarko Simmons. I'd be happy with one, but ecstatic with all 3. OFFICIAL SIGNINGS: WR Eric Peterman (Northwestern) OL Dennis Conley (Hampton) S Dahana Deletson (UConn) FB Will Taufoou (Cal) LB Mike Rivera (Kansas) RB Tyrell Fenroy (UL-Lafayette) DT Steve Ostrowski (UW-Whitewater)

No info yet but JA has locked up everybody this is crazy!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.chicagobears.com/

http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2016/4/6/...s-leonard-floyd I dont see it at all. An undersized pass rushing linebacker who can't play the run? They say he isn't a 3 down player, but brings a pass rush on passing downs. But we don't line up in 3-4 in passing downs, we line up at Nickel, and 4-3 ends like Willie Young are more suited to a 3 point stance than this kid. Kiper isnt paying attention.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6125465.story He's 6-2 TE and almost 300 pounds. Wow. I like this idea of basically having a 3rd OG on the field. Since Turner became the OC, I've wanted us to get a "bowling ball" type player to clear the way for our RB. My only concern is I hope we have a plan for Olsen. The obvious solution is to utilize him as a 3rd WR. I also wonder if we'd look to get rid of Dez Clark.

Placeholder for Week 1 - SEA (Waldron's offense) beat TEN in Week 16 last season 20-17 in TEN. Geno Smith was 25-36, 69.4%, 227 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT, 2 Sacks, 104.7 QB Rating. 18 receptions by WRs. SEA sacked TEN 6 times. TEN replaced Derrick Henry with Tony Pollard. If the Bears can stop Pollard, who is more of a dual threat than Henry, I think the Bears win handily.

Ruskell for gm

Sometimes, teams make moves and you get the sense that the team is genuinely, enthusiasticlaly behind the move. When the Bulls got Derrick Rose, everyone, no matter who you talked to on the team, was visibly thrilled and he had respect from day one. Every Bear I have heard speak about the trade has brought up, even when not prompted, that they really believed in Kyle Orton as QB and are sorry to see him go. Cutler's not going to be handed anything by this team. One hopes that changes the moment he throws a 60 yard bomb on the money, but if he thinks that making the Pro Bowl and moving to a city which has been plagued with questionable to bad QB play for most of the past …

per espn.com Insider.

Over my many years of watching Bears football I have had some real highs and a whole lotta lows but when it comes to me spiking the Bears cap on the ground or chucking it at the tube one player made me sicker than anyone when I watched his constant miscues. That was Lew Barnes who was a WR/returner on I think the 87 Bears team. He was an adventure each return and you didn't know if he would cleanly field the punt, take it to the house or fumble it after running 30 yards with it.That year I think the Bears were 12-4 and hosted the Skins at Soldier's Field in the playoffs. The Bears had two critical fumbles in the game one by Payton and the other from Barnes late in the game …

Mike Martz was on the the SCORE today and I thought it was a great interview. Makes me think that we are moving Devin back returner and as a slot receiver more less. http://bit.ly/aHUBCg
