Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

The draft pool just got a little more crowded, as usual the Packers, Patriots, and Ravens are up there. If Pace keeps drafting well, one day we may see the Bears back on this list. http://www.thescore.com/news/980601

We now get to see Cutler back under center for better or for worst. He will get us back on his bandwagon or cause much talk about McCown again. I hope he does well, we win out and make the playoffs. But: as the season goes we will probably win 2 of the next 3 and not make the playoffs. Lions have a better 3 games to deal with than we do. So for Christmas I would like us to win out(first choice) or lose out and get the best draft position we can grab. So what do you want for Christmas?

    C. Patterson is solely working out with the RB group. Makes sense. I see him getting 100 reps with Cohen dropping to 50. The concept that we actually run the ball more.

Hard to believe we're getting close. Interested where people are at with this draft, so figured I would shoot out some questions: 1. Player(s) you'd love to see the Bears land. 2. Players(s) you do not want to see the Bears draft. 3. Player you are most wary/nervous of the Bears drafting. 4. Should the Bears draft a QB? If so, when? 5. Player you don't want to see drafted by another NFC North team. 6. Player you irrationally love. 7. Early round bust. 8. Late round steal. 9. Player who will go at least two rounds later than everyone thinks. 10. Player who will go at least two rounds earlier than everyone thinks.

I'm going to get straight to it. This team lacks discipline. It is a direct sign that the head coach needs to simplify things 1) The Chicago Bears lead the league in penalties and yards of penalties. Smart teams that know they need every break they can get buckle down on these mental lapses. It shows that it's not being drilled in. 2) Can not run the football. The easiest thing to do in all of sports is running the football. You line up against the other team and impose your will as a unit. Our OL continues to blow assignments, lack effort and generally suck. Running the football is about effort and desire. Sometimes yes, mostly no. All about discipli…

First, I would like to say happy holidays to everybody and hope all is going well ! It's been a pretty disappointing season and our football future seems to be up for grabs right now unfortunately. Many have been screaming for heads but few will fall. I believe Angelo and above are safe for a long time. Lovie will probably be safe for another year maybe two. He is a Mc Caskey favorite, and keeps everything under wraps and doesn't make waves . More then likely he will get a new O staff. But who in there right mind will take this O.C. job ? Answer: unemployed friends , some college OC , how about someone on their own staff already ? Sounds wonderful and…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/...-bears-defense/ Ditka sees no talent, no pride on Bears’ defense Posted by Michael David Smith on November 12, 2014, 12:57 PM EST Ditka Getty Images Mike Ditka, the man who coached perhaps the greatest defense in NFL history with the 1985 Bears, does not like the defense he sees in Chicago this year. Ditka told the Chicago Sun-Times that he thinks both the effort and the talent level are lacking on the Bears’ defense after the debacle in Green Bay on Sunday night. “The defense is not good,” Ditka said. “I don’t see a lot of leadership out of certain players. I think they have a problem. Marc [Trestman]…

  15. Bears can pull the plug on Peppers after one year Posted by Mike Florio on March 8, 2010 11:07 PM ET We mentioned earlier tonight some of the details relating to the Julius Peppers deal. We've picked up some more information about the contract, and it's now clear that if the Bears clean house after the 2010 season, it'll be easier for the new regime to bid Peppers adieu. As Peter King of SI.com pointed out this afternoon, Peppers gets $20 million in 2010 (all but a $100,000 workout bonus is guaranteed). But the $22 million in guaranteed money that he's due to receive in 2011 and 2012 is guaranteed for injury only. This means that the Bears can decide after…

I haven't watched much of him in the two games he's started, but he seems to be holding up much better as a LT than he ever did as a RT. A lot of people in the media have been pointing out how good he's looked. Going up against one of the best pass rushing combos in the league today can't be easy. Perhaps the Bears have indeed found some value with their 7th round pick. Marquess Wilson also appears to be coming into his own a little bit as well, which is great to see. That's what this year is all about. Building up the players you think might have a future here.

So I was looking into the free-agent QBs going into 2020. There are a lot of options with potential huge differences in salary cap hits. Take a look at the list below sorted by DVOA. The guys with asterisks are free agents and the guys with a carrot are potential cap casualties. To me, there is no point to add a guy who would essentially have the same production as Trubisky. Looking at the guys in his group, those are all the same type of performers, all underwhelming. So I would target no one worse than Keenum out of the available pool of (Keenum, Brissett, Rivers, Bridgewater, Moore, Carr, and Tannehill). If you reduced the candidate pool by age first, that w…

After running several mock drafts on Fanspeaks' premium over the past several weeks I just can not help trading back for more picks. The Bears just have to many needs to only have 6 picks. Admittedly, I don't watch college football accept for an occasional bowl game. I just don't have the time so I us this time of year to cram before the draft! Nobody on this board has discussed the possibility of going with a CB for the second year in a row. The reason I am throwing this scenario out there is that I feel that the elite Defensive players i.e. Williams, Gregory, Fowler will be gone before the number 7 pick. If I was in Pace's shoes running my first draft…
